Will not write about my experience other than the fact that the receptionist  young lady that checked me in and took my vitals was excellent. Do not want to share what followed.

Nurse Practitioner and her assistant were courteous and paid attention to my symptoms. I have been at the New Rochelle urgent care before and satisfied enough for a return visit.

My son woke up with a sore throat. His PCP was available, but not for many hours. The physician at DOCS had availability. She was empathetic, thorough, knowledgeable and insightful.

The staff were wonderful and we should all thank them for even being there! A special thanks to Dan the clinical director. Nothing but kindness and compassion even as he was multitasking and believe me it was crowded. The care was great and I felt I got individual attention, energy at the end of the night. I witnessed how well they cleaned everything after each patient!! I rated the wait time as a 3 but this should not be a reflection in the site or the staff. They did everything in their power to keep it as short as possible. They even arrived early to hand out rerun times to walk-in patients who wanted COVID testing. Had they not done this we could have been there for hours waiting our turn!! Thank you to everyone!

It was great. Very organized at a stressful Covid test time. The only thing that could have gone better is that the appointment time given wasn't close to when they finally called me in. But they were wonderful so I assume they were taking time with each patient to answer their many questions.

We were there for CovidTests. Can’t rate facility cleanliness, because the test takes place directly at the door. Everything worked fine, quickly, no problems. But test result took 2 days and it was sent by a new system again. I am registered in soooo many health platforms now.

I have had a covid test several times at PulseMD at Thornwood and appreciate how efficient the whole process is and that you remain in your car and only have to walk outside to the back door for the covid test. I prefer to limit the amount of time I spend in an urgent care setting and this setup is perfect!

I have been trying to get a fax of my negative Covid quick test but no one has responded despite several calls. Please fax to ***. Or call me to arrange picking up the report. Thanks.

Both the PA on the virtual call and the nurse who administered the COVID test for my two year old were very warm and kind, helpful and knowledgeable. A+

- Verified patient on 7/20

PulseMD Made it very easy for me to get my Covid test. That was quick, easy, and the test was administered so gently and with almost no pain. I really appreciate the friendly service and professionalism of the whole operation. I would go there again in a heartbeat.

- Verified patient on 5/3

Overall I gave the service a 10 out of 10, the man who serviced me was very friendly and provided me with all the information I needed as well as helped me with any questions that I had. I definitely will recommend pulse MD for anyone needing a rapid or PCR test.

- Verified patient on 2/2

It was great to be able to have a rapid covid test and able to see my mom in a Nursing Home. My only complaint is the availability for parking was very limited.

- Verified patient on 3/9

Was able to make an appointment and staff was friendly and nice. In total waited an hour and a half but didn’t mind. They take you in order of who signed up first. I took both a rapid and a regular PCR. I was waiting for a rapid test result and they nevrer called me. They told me they would call me within a couple of hours. So until I hear from them, I can’t return to work! Tried calling that same day but no response. They may have cliosed ? My husband went the same day and they called him within the hour with his rapid reaults. Not sure why I was not called!

We had an exceptional experience. Jeanean was the nicest, most caring provider and made my son feel very comfortable using the virtual visits. We had a rapid covid test done at the drive in at the Wapp. locations. The testing was efficient, the staff kind and caring. Overall an excellent experience. Thank you!!!

The Solv app is frustrating. I had to input duplicative info multiple times. Wasn’t sure if my appointment was in person or virtual. Received different text threads from Solv. Wasn’t sure if I could do paperwork on the computer or if it had to be on the phone via the link. At the testing site, I get that staff need to find some levity, but I was stressed about feeling sick and having to get my first Covid test. One staff member joking with the other about how long she had the swab up my nose (which is already uncomfortable), was uncomfortable.

- Verified patient on 4/1

There was a bit of confusion locating the paperworkfrom the Telemedicine call with our approval for testing. Once that was addressed, the tests went quickly and the staff was great. Thank you!

- Verified patient on 1/7

Everything was smooth sailing, until I park the car and waited 50 minutes for the person to come out with my results. I watched him exit the building get in his car and he finally came back with a bag that appeared to be Chinese food. Went back in the building and came out with at least 10 people’s results. Have a heart these people are being tested for Covid. Most of them are sick. Extra wait time so you can get food, not far!

- Verified patient on 1/2

They were very efficient and helpful. Obviously this service is in high demand, but they get the job done and we greatly appreciate being able to get both rapid and pcr tests done at the same time!!

- Verified patient on 1/4

Very professional but you guys are not following NYS protocol for early exit from travel quarantine. Today is day 4 of my return and you guys wont let me test until tomorrow - see Cuomo Executive Order 205.2. 3 days from date or arrival - not day after arrival.

Ashley was very professional, succinct and she also took the time to explain the triage/vetting process for Covid Testinat this Pulse MD in Thornwood NY. My previous visits have been out of necessity, with little to no communication from staff (understandable with the volume of patients they see and the lack of hours in the day and staffing shortages) leaving me with high anxiety - however now that she's explained the process of Covid testing steps here I'll be coming back if necessary and also consider Pulse MD for my other urgent care needs

- Verified patient on 3/20

Tried to book Covid test for a week from now and got put into a video visit Waited an hour at my computer which is really unacceptable. They should call when ready to talk. Very distressing and I’m still angry about it

- Verified patient on 3/29

The woman on the phone helped my entire family with covid tests and paperwork. She was VERY patient and helpful. She stayed on the phone for over 45 minutes. She was amazing!

- Verified patient on 2/3

Everything pretty easy, had the virtual call and then ran there for covid and strep test. I just wish they listened to my chest and took my blood pressure.

- Verified patient on 8/1

Consistent, quality care, done with high efficiency. Thank you, pulseMD. The nurses are gentle, and caring, the Telehealth staff concise, understanding and helpful. Covid tests a breeze

- Verified patient on 8/6

About 45 minute wait time for COVID test with appt time. Very easy testing site at walk up window around the back of building. Very fast and friendly. Home Reception was backed up. Convenient location but parking it was full so parked at ga station.

Took my 4 year old for COVID testing. The wait time was minimal and the whole process was effortless. Nurse was also super nice and gentle.

Thornwood Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. To see how you're responding to a drug or to check if you're at risk for certain diseases, lab tests may be performed.

Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

Before your lab test, ask your doctor for precise instructions to follow to minimize erroneous results and multiple trips to the lab for additional testing. A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
