I made an appointment online and was able to get an appointment quickly. I did not wait and was greeted kindly. The nurse practitioner that saw me took time with me and sent a prescription to my pharmacy immediately. She told me to get back to her if I wasnt doing better or had any questions. Way better than going to my family practitioners where I was told I couldn’t be seen until July 15th for a sick appointment. Highly recommend Carbon Health in Jenkintown.

Had a telephone visit prior to a COVID test. Scheduled my COVID test for later same day. Got the test done as scheduled. Easy and went as planned.

Rapid covid test I have to get a video vs first. Each time I have to go through alot of personal info each time.Taking into consideration my older age this becomes more difficult each time. Why can't they keep my info on file?

- Verified patient on 2/22

the staff was kind and helpful however I was under the impression that the rapid test was going to be done at this appointment after the telemed appointment. I apologize if I was rude at all to the telemed staff, I was just really upset and confused as to what was going on and what I had paid for since I had taken off work to make the appointment and was due to go back to work after the appointment pending a negative test result. Again, I apologize.

It was fine but I disagree at the last minute being askto put a credit card on fil to pay for the covid test im on social security disability I have medicare insurance I booked online it told me I could use my insurance...... then when the video call came it wouldn't let me join till I put my debit card on this isn't right!!!! No cost I have insurance that pays the staff are very good

So far, I only had my tele med conference with Joe E (can’t recall his last name). He was awesome and treated me with great respect. I’m going for my rapid Covid test tomorrow and I’m sure that experience will be just fine as well.

I set up a telmed appointment for a COVID test. The appointment was was set up within an hour and I had my appointment scheduled the next day for my test. Everyone I talked to was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend Aston Urgent care

- Verified patient on 1/29

You need to be clear that the appointment made is for televisit only. I went there expecting to do the televisit then go in for test. I then had to make another appointment for the test and come back another time. When you make appointment they should tell you to stay home for televisit!!! Very confusing

- Verified patient on 1/18

These telephone visits covid testing is worse than going through a root canal you expect the elderly generation to know how to navigate internet and we all don't know that. So think about us when you're doing things like these scheduling. We do know the telephone.

Aston Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

Before your lab test, ask your doctor for precise instructions to follow to minimize erroneous results and multiple trips to the lab for additional testing. A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
