Prior to going into the office, I had called to find out the hours. When I arrived at the office, I was greeted very nicely. I checked in staff was friendly. I didn’t have to wait long at all. My vital signs were taken. A NP student INTERVIEWED ME TO FIND OUT MY ISSUES. HE WAS VERY PLEASANT, KIND AND GENTLE. AFTERWARDS, THE NURSE PRACTITIONER CAME IN AND ALSO EXAMINED ME AND ATTENDED TO MY KNEE. IT IS A VERY PLEASANT VISIT.

I thought I broke my wrist and I got an x-ray here and the nurse practitioner explained to me exactly what the process was and she gave me her opinion about whether she noticed a fracture and I got a call back within two hours and got the full results of the x-ray. I only waited for about two minutes before I was taken back to the room and I was out of there within 40 minutes. Very efficient!

I have been at this location 2x in the past month or so and the Dr each time was first rate, one I would use for my primary if need be. The girl at the front desk was wonderful but the nurse' personality left something to be desired.

Today’s visit was for a COVID antibody test. I liked being able to fill out the paperwork online and having a tele-visit with the doctor. Coming in was super easy. I had a short wait and then I was in and out in a few minutes. I would definitely recommend AFC Urgent Care.

We needed to get a quick Covid test and this was a great community based location with little wait time and quick response!

- Verified patient on 12/10

I called to consult on whether I should be tested due to Covid exposure. I talked to Joe Eckstein who was great, clear, concise, knowledgeable & professional. I would not have been able to complete the paper work/registration without my husband’s help.

This was just a telemedicine visit with Dr. Dang. I am scheduled for Covid rapid test tomorrow because I have cold symptoms. When I called AFC they were quick to advise how to get a Covid test asap. Their instructions for a telemedicine visit and scheduling the test were very good. I have been to AFC a few times and have always been more than satisfied with treatment there and have always felt like I was in good hands. Dr. Dang is an excellent Provider, with a wonderful bedside manner and he is very professional. If I wasn’t already more than satisfied with my primary care doctor, I would try to have Dr. Dang as my PCP😊

I had a telemedicine appointment to make an appointment for the covid antibody test. The NP, Joe, was very friendly and pleasant .

All I wanted was a Covid-19 test. The time I spent and the difficulty of registering and working through the virtual screening was RIDICULOUS !!! I'm not computer or technilogically proficient so it was insanely difficult. What are the elderely who are not computer savvy or don't have a computer supposed to do??? Why don't you use the telephone and simplify the process.

- Verified patient on 3/26

Everyone I have been tested the wait was minimal and the staff very courteous and knowledgeable both on phone and at testing.

- Verified patient on 1/14

My provider (Mark) was very professional, friendly and helpful. I scheduled my test with a Lauren, who was also very professional, friendly and helpful. The process was pretty smooth and easy to navigate. Thanks!

Elaina at the front counter was really helpful and kind showing me how to set up my Covid test! Havertown is lucky to have a professional Emergency Care Service like this in town. I would recommend them to everyone!!

- Verified patient on 3/25

I was feeling ill on a Friday after work and needed to get a covid test to protect my family since I’m a healthcare professional. I had to wait 30 mins past my telehealth appt time to speak with the doc but was able to get the rapid test the next morning seemlessly. Thank you AFC

Everything went well. Did not have no problem with anything. I was kind of shock when they ran my insurance information, when you ask for rapd test it depends on your your insurance. They want to charge me $79.00 for that test. I had to order the pcr test. The wait time was perfect. The doctor I talk to on zoom gave me the front desk phone number. Yes I would recommend it to my family and friends. Because they answered all my questions with no. Probable

The nurse that tested me for Covid was friendly and efficient. She even came out as soon as I called as directed on the sign even though I was early for a 2:00 appointment.

- Verified patient on 11/15

Wait is long, but it’s a small inconvenience for being able to get a test with little advance notice. Staff is very friendly.

- Verified patient on 12/19

This was a great experience as I booked only 15 minutes before!! The nurses or techs were great as was the dr on telehealth!! I would recommend this to anyone wanting to get a covid test!! I got a negative rapid and am waiting for the Pcr test!! Thanks for your great service!!!

- Verified patient on 11/23

Only comment is that doctor on telemedicine gives phone number. Option 2, which is about testing, doesn’t give patient ability to make appointment; it presumes patient is just starting the process. So you have to call back and select option 3. Suggest telemed doctor tell people that

Havertown Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. To see how you're responding to a drug or to check if you're at risk for certain diseases, lab tests may be performed. If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.
