Short Wait Time

So easy to schedule an appointment on line or walk in. Reassuring to know someone will see you the day you need them. I like that Drs explain everything. The staff are helpful, attentive, and kind from the time you walk in the door until you leave. Definitely would recommend!

Short Wait Time

I made an appointment online and was able to get an appointment quickly. I did not wait and was greeted kindly. The nurse practitioner that saw me took time with me and sent a prescription to my pharmacy immediately. She told me to get back to her if I wasnt doing better or had any questions. Way better than going to my family practitioners where I was told I couldn’t be seen until July 15th for a sick appointment. Highly recommend Carbon Health in Jenkintown.

Short Wait Time

Easy to schedule, they had a same day appt and I was able to book right at 9 am, staff and PA were SO nice, PA was informative and friendly, with great bedside manner and advice. My only opportunity area for this Urgent Care would be to reduce the wait time. It took 40 minutes before I even saw the PA from when I arrived with the 9 am appt. And all together I was there 1 hour and 30 minutes. PA was new and learning the ropes and computer systems, but this waiting time (with an appt) should look to be shortened in the future.

Short Wait Time

Scheduled with ease online. They had an opening within 10 mins, took that appointment. Upon arrival was greeted by front office staff who kindly checked me in. Was sitting for not even a minute before being called back by the medical assistant who was also kind and took all my vitals. The Dr. came in with a wonderful professional demeanor and great bedside manner. He answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns. I would definitely recommend this office for your urgent health care needs!

Sparkling Clean

Today is the first time I learned about Carbon Health when it was recommended to me by the local CVS. Everything about my visit today was excellent! They are definitely my new urgent care center and I plan on telling my friends and family all about my pleasant experience there this morning.

Best emergency care experience of my life. Maggie, Jamie, Dan, and Mark treated me like a queen: couldn't have been kinder, friendlier, or more competent. I was seen immediately, and my injury was treated with care and professionalism. Fearing a long wait, insurance issues, or grouchy staff personalities so often experienced when seeking emergency care, I hesitated to even go for treatment of my injury but ultimately recognized it was unavoidable. Thank goodness I went, and thank goodness I chose AFC Urgent Care. I not only received amazing health care but also left with warm fuzzies to carry with me all week.

First let me say that I think the staff was all The above, friendly, fast and the wait time was to be expected! Two things that bothered me: 1. There is a sign at the door that says if you want a Covid test you could come in and get it now! That’s not true! 2. There was suppose to be a teleconference call that was scheduled but it was a phone call! 20 minutes later than scheduled. Other than that every thing was fine. Easy fixes!!

It was a little mobile trailer thing that looks like it is best suited to sell fried oddities at a town carnival. Aside from that, everyone at the mobile funnel cake clinic was super friendly, incredibly courteous and provided clear instructions for obtaining my results. I also got my results back today (a little less than 24 hours after taking the test), so I was quite pleased with that.

I was able to get an appointment right away. The online paperwork made it easy. The staff was very friendly. The location was clearly marked, and the short line was socially distanced and clearly marked/sectioned off. The one staff member was sure to Lysol the testing area. The test itself wasn’t too terrible. The swab was slightly irritating-as in eyes water and feel like you’re going to sneeze, but it’s over quickly. Kudos to the staff on the front lines in an outside trailer doing the testing & I hope they stay safe.

I have directed several people to the Montgomery County Covid testing sites. I feel that the the directions for self testing and the accuracy of this testing along with timely notification of the respults c cannot be beat. I am a nurse and am very picky about where I'd send people for a PCR test. I explain that the test is like a blood pressure- at the time of the test you tested negative/positive. A negative test does not mean to stop precautions. It's just one tool in the toolbox. I monitor the science and accuracy and this is the best hands down. The staff is wonderful and the facilities who give up space for the county testing sites are angels.

Actually this is the second time I've felt that I needed to get tested for Covid. Calling on the phone to make an appointment was very easy. The receptionist made registration quick and I was able to get an appointment for testing the next day each time I called. In each case the results were available to me within two days or less. The process was very efficient

It was perfect. I walked in, entered minimal information(I am a fast typer), received my test tube, walked over to the gentleman who gave me the wand, asked me to stand by the cone and he walked me through the test which I administered, and was outside not even ten minutes later, I will receive results in a couple of days, I’m very happy

I had to bring my 8 year old to be tested. The staff her was AMAZING with her. The woman who helped us saw the she was nervous about it. She explained it to my daughter and even did a little dance to help ease her anxiety!!! What a breath of fresh air she was!! Thank you

It was raining the day of my test and I use oxygen. The technician who came out to administer the test was professional with the best smile - great combo if you need to have this test done. He eased my fears and showed a gentle compassion I never expected. I wish I could thank him for his service.

My son is autistic and became very agitated very early. The nurse suggested we go outside and do the test while he was in his car seat. She was so kind, patient, sensitive, and understanding with us and with him. And doing the test outside was so much easier on all of us. I was very nervous about giving my son this test, and she made it as easy as possible. Thanks.

Best Covid testing facility. No wait time and the results are quick. Staff is always friendly and helpful. If there’s a silver lining in these crazy Covid times, this is it. PLEASE NOTE this is located near Dicks and Old Navy by the Willowgrove Mall. Same plaza. There are 2 facilities one for testing and one for vaccine.

I just want to say that so many of the staff are super friendly, and just all around sweet! They don’t make you feel bad or scary (covid testing) and I just would recommend going there! Melissa and the rest of the folk I forgot their name! But just Lovely and even on the phone professional and nice!

Went for a covid test which was a quick & easy process. The doctor called the next day with my result (which was positive) and he was helpful & gave me treatment advice. My only complaint is that I asked for an email of the lab results & haven’t gotten it yet. I will wait another day & call if I still don’t see it.

So very easy to set up appointment. No wait to book and appointment; no wait at the appointment; in and out in less than five minutes. PCR test, and every time we use this site we have our results in 24 hours or less--48 is what is promised, but they have always been super fast

This was for COVID Testing for my daughter. All went fine with the testing but there was poor communication provided to her on how to access the results. The phone # we provided was mine. When I texted the 5 digit code to inquire about results there was no response. We didn’t receive any email alerts. I finally called Mako. The woman who answered the phone at Mako was not very helpful either. Finally we figured out that my daughter’s login process hadn’t been set up right, but like I said this all could have been better communicated and the woman at Mako could have looked up the records for us or walked us through access steps.

The experience was great and my only concern is I had the test done on Friday and it appears as if the labs may not be open over the weekend. It would’ve been nice to know that. Because I’m quarantining and I’d love to if I need to be doing that.

I have gone a couple times, once a week during condition red, for compassionate care testing. The staff at Willowgrove are very friendly and have shown care and support for people who are getting their first test and are anxious about the process. I look forward to seeing them each week.

Once I got there everything was great, but I went without an appointment, because I had spend 1/2-hr and went to more than 10 websites to try and find the site where I could make an appointment, and I couldn't find it. From the Montgomery County site, "Where to get a COVID test" tells you locations, but doesn't take you to the appointment site. It's impossible to find. VERY frustrating.

Getting a PCR test for Covid here was a breeze. No waiting at all, folks were competent and helpful, and I was on my way. Got results sooner than expected too. You made it easy. (I didn’t know how to evaluate bedside manner and quality of care because I was in and out so quickly.)

- Verified patient on 12/20

Everything was handled, processed in a timely manner including the notification of results. More importantly, the Montgomery County Covid 19 testers and staff were wonderful! They made an unpleasant experience feel safe, friendly and their use of polite and respectful humor helped to relax and calm those of us being tested.

We got there early and went to register at 11am 15 and 16 minutes before our appointments we were taken back immediately, the staff person gave us concise directions on how to perform the test and was very nice and professional. No complaints at all. Looking forward to getting my results.

Willow Grove Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

Before your lab test, ask your doctor for precise instructions to follow to minimize erroneous results and multiple trips to the lab for additional testing. A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
