And i have medicare and emblem. An enormous bill appeared next after the appt!!!!!!!! WHY????? The phone call is long and takes many turns to get through to a person.  Left a message and called three hours later, as no one called me back Lovely PA but computer issues are ancient

Had a 11am appt. Arrived about 10 mins late but texted to inform. Would have been amazing if they texted back to let me know there was a 2 hour wait once I got inside. I received 3 text the morning of about checking in.. they could have just delayed my appt. They were behind due to a few unforeseen issues. Just tell patience so we can go about our day and plan accordingly. Other than that, everything was fine.

Came home from work and noticed that my child had a high fever. Her pediatrician office was closed so I googled and saw that this urgent care was opened. It was super easy scheduling an appointment on my phone and sending my insurance information with just a picture. There was probably a 25 min wait time to be put in a room but it’s an urgent care so considering that it’s not bad at all since the waiting area was full. Everyone was super friendly from the front desk guy to the MA and especially the Dr. She took her time examining my daughter and explaining the care and treatment process. Thank you for listening and caring, I would highly recommend.

Overall, the experience was fine, especially considering I was a late walk-in. However, the waiting area definitely needs an update. The carpet should be replaced with linoleum or tile flooring for better cleanliness and to help reduce germs.

It’s always a pleasure to schedule appointments on the Solv app or as a walk-in. The check in is lengthy but that’s to be expected. After that check in is a breeze and waiting time is not long at all. The staff is always friendly and care from the providers is thorough and efficient. I would recommend AFC for family oriented care.

It was excellent!! I was kind of surprised the patience of the nurse practitioner and her caring ways! I have not took the COVID-19 nostril testing due to fear of pain she changed my way of thinking. She explained everything every step of the way even when my questions were silly she did not shy away she addressed my every concern and there were a few. Thank God for people like her!! She is a great asset for any employer that hires her as their employee. We need more people like her in this world then it will be a better place to live in. I truly mean this from the bottom of my heart. I told all my friends and co-workers about her. I suggest if anyone needs COVID-19 testing the best place is *** 3rd Ave!!

You really need to hire more than one front desk person. She is overwhelmed and things are completely log jammed there. We had the first appointment of the day at 8a and weren’t seen until after 830. A desperate father came in to get their Covid results so their kid could go back to school (same day Monday). He said he had emailed and called and couldn’t get anyone on the phone. She told him “well I’m only one person”. She then printed his results which obviously had just been sitting there. I got a rapid test because I was afraid of having a similar experience getting a pcr test- I found it near impossible to get the actual results the last time I did it as well and had to come in. You are doing a heavy volume of testing but do not have a proper plan in place to give people the results of pcr tests. And you have one front desk receptionist left to deal with everyone and everything. It’s a case of being cheap in the wrong place .

I did not wait long to get tested (less than 5 mins) and the staff was professional and friendly.

Excellent doctor. Very facile and painless administration of COVID test. Clean spacious and modern facility. Easy to schedule. Zero wait time. Superior experience

Everyone with whom I dealt was lovely, in particular, Dr. Shahd Hamarsha. She spent a considerable amount of time explaining the differences between the rapid Covid test and the one I had today. She has such a delightful manner, which is evident even while wearing a mask!

The personnel administering the tests were both professional, and did not laugh at me when they could see that I was in unimaginable pain.

Malik did our test . He is a very good guy and friendly. I recommend this . It was quick test and quick results!!

This was my second rapid test at a ProHEALTH facility. Other than the ~20 min wait, everything else was perfect. The doctor was respectful, calming, and explained the test well. Would absolutely recommend.

Everything went very well it was my first test and the young lady that performed my test was very gentle.

My appointment was for Covid testing. Great experience. Front desk was very efficient and the Dr. Hamarsha was excellent, very caring and approachable.

Last time I waited 3 hours for covid test and 2 of those hours was outside in the cold. I was thrilled to be able to walk in and wait about 1/2 hour which I didn’t mind since I was sitting and waiting indoors.

- Verified patient on 2/4

The reason for our visit to get a covid test for my daughter. We had an advance appointment, but the wait time was still over an hour. The check in process was confusing, you have to wait outside until you are called into the building. I would have been ok with waiting outside, however the staff asked us to wait in the small vestibule between the front door and outside door. I was uncomfortable since 4 people were in this space with no social distancing markers. I could not see our actual place in line through the application (I would like to have monitored my spot this way & stayed outside or been permitted to proceed to the waiting room which was very clean and spacious), when I asked why the staff said we were about to be called (we still waited for a lengthy time after that). The actual test was fast, the exam room clean, & nice bedside manner. I would return but insist on waiting outside.

I was very scared to take the test, but they reassured me everything was gonna be OK at they ran the test.

The staff came out frequently to apprise us of how much longer to wait before coming into the facility to be seen. Once in, John, who did the COVID test on my son was both professional and reassuring and did a smooth job. Our doctor was friendly and thorough and reminded my son that although his age group mostly didn’t get as sick with COVID, he should be attentive to do what he can to lessen the spread. The result came back quickly and we were on our way. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier and made a visit that my son anticipated with trepidation, quite pleasant.

I visited prohealth in little neck 3 weeks ago and the service was horrible. My visit today at Stuyvesant was so pleasant. I was able to make an appointment and the person who checked me in & the person who did my test were amazing. Hands down will choose this location for future visits.

i was in and out in no time. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to get tested

The girls that work at the front desk are always so friendly and accommodating, and the doctor that came in to see us took so much time to explain everything about the virus!!! I came with my two daughters and our last name is Meltzer. I don’t remember the doctor‘s last name but she was such a doll And she gave us such a good explanation of the rapid test versus the PCR.

- Verified patient on 3/18

My only problem with it was I was notified of how much it cost after the test as I walked out. The price was not advertised anywhere and it was ridiculously more expensive that any other place. Please advertise and let people know how much it costs.

- Verified patient on 12/16

Very easy snd fast intake. Fast testing and out the door. Just what I needed. Thank You.

The person in charge of the covid testing process charged me 100 usd dollars in cash because i was not a New York resident. He did not gave me any receipt for the money and im startin to think that he kept the money for himself. The worst part is that i didnt receive the results on next day because the person who took my data spelled my email and name wrong and i almost loose my flight due to the situation.

New York Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. To see how you're responding to a drug or to check if you're at risk for certain diseases, lab tests may be performed.

Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

Before your lab test, ask your doctor for precise instructions to follow to minimize erroneous results and multiple trips to the lab for additional testing. A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
