VA referred us to this clinic. The name and phone number had changed, but I knew where the clinic was located. The check in process was not familiar to me, but the lady at front desk guided me through it. The nurse and FNP were professional . I had a test for Covid and flu and was told to go to Flynn Radiology for chest X-ray. Told not to ho yo Germantown clinic because was too busy. Referred to clinic in Mt Moriah. We left with no result from flu snd Covid test. Got to Mt Moriah clinic and were told they do not accept VA. (I had asked FNP if the VA was ok with that clinic and he said yes). After what was to us wasted time, I went to the VA hospital ER and was treated very well. That’s where I will go in the future if the need arises. I was just hoping to find a convenient, good care facility that accepted me as a 100% disabled veteran. I guess this place wasn’t it. It may work well for someone else, but sadly not for me.

I came in one day without an appoint and waited two hours as a walk-in before I had to leave without being tested. I made an appointment through Labcorp for the next day, showed up on time, got tested easily and was on my way in 15-20 minutes. Staff is friendly and helpful.

I was able to choose a Labcorp location and schedule an appointment. Check in was easy, and I only needed to provide my name and DOB. They were able to locate my order in their system. They were already aware that my labs were paid for prior to the appointment. I had my labs done on a Wednesday, and I received my results by Saturday. Great experience.

I had the worst head cold I’ve had in about fifteen years. Worried that it might have been Covid. Got a rapid test (negative) and treatment for the cold. I’d never received a shot for a cold before…it’s truly a miracle of modern science! Most importantly, I was able to go back to work the next day!

I went to get a Covid 19 test at this facility only to find out my insurance was inactive. The tech was more than sympathetic to my cause she came back to check on me during my trial of finding out what happened and finally getting the info that i needed to prove i actually had insurance and the actual test was done efficiently and accurately thanks.

I had to get a COVID test 72 hours before I flew into Dulles Airport in DC. It was very nice to be able to make an appointment for a rapid test . Also, very nice to have it done car side . Clear instructions - very prompt . The staff was friendly and informative .

Good job.. I just think the test was too expensive if you have to pay out of pocket.. I could see 100 or maybe 150 but over 200 is really ridiculous.. and a suggestion.. we came as a group .. I think you should get individual results before others get tests.. we wouldn’t have had to spend the 200$ for our test since she turned up positive!!!!

I had a rapid Covid test. They were prompt and very caring! I truly appreciate the staff and the care they showed me!

I am floored by how amazing Greater Community Temple COGIC’s COVID-19 testing service is. I couldn’t find anything else around town on a Sunday and this church was ready and willing. This church is truly serving the community. I was so worried I was exposed to COVID-19 and desperately needed a test as a caregiver to my 82-year old-mother. They are a true blessing!

AFC Urgent Care was easy to find and gave clear instructions upon arrival. I came for a covid test and they tested me in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend them to a friend.

I would absolutely recommend this provider . Everything about the experience was convenient . Thank you

I went in to get a COVID test but received so much more. The check-in process was super quick and easy, making my time spent at AFC Urgent Care much shorter than it could have been. The staff was very friendly and willing to answer any questions I had. After receiving my negative test, they did some more examining to determine what was making me sick and wrote prescriptions to deal with the infection.

I actually did not go inside. I went for a Covid test and was attended to in the back parking lot. Which was fine. It was actually great. I never had to leave my car and received my results in less than 15 minutes.

I work in a job that exposes me to the public and when you start to feel sick or have a fever your mind goes straight to Covid. As far as Covid testing goes, they make it easy and quick. It’s as pleasant as a Covid test can be considering it’s a slightly uncomfortable test.

Easy, friendly, quick Covid test - pulled up, called the number, nice nurse came out promptly to administer test, results were fast (and negative!) and I was done.

The guy taking the tests was real friendly and spoke English and spanish. Many tests in the area weren’t available and the facility was. Real quick test and results. I’d go back again and recommend it. 10/10

I desperately wanted a Covid test because I am coughing a lot and have been extra tired. My doctor suggested I try Walgreens or Kroger, but neither was helpful so my husband was able to locate this space. I was very pleased and will recommend it to others.

I needed a Covid test fast and AFC did that; insurance even covered the whole cost! When the results were negative and I asked to speak with the doctor, they ran more tests and gave me a diagnosis within an hour and without an appointment. Everyone was super nice and helpful, especially the sweet nurses.

I took my 97 year old Father in for a Covid 19 test...the staff was patient, spoke clearly and distinctly, were very caring and considerate. We are grateful for the care received there. He was negative, by the way, which made us all very happy. Thank you for being there.

Memphis Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. To see how you're responding to a drug or to check if you're at risk for certain diseases, lab tests may be performed. If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. To see how you're responding to a drug or to check if you're at risk for certain diseases, lab tests may be performed.

Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

Before your lab test, ask your doctor for precise instructions to follow to minimize erroneous results and multiple trips to the lab for additional testing. A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
