I came to my appointment. The wait time was appropriate, the nurses were super friendly and very helpful. When speaking with the doctor about my heartburn medication, I was told that it was a lesser milligram and I corrected that the bottle is a different milligram than what the doctor thought. I felt as if that moment her demeanor and tone changed as to me being irritating to her I apologize for upsetting her, she rolled her eyes at me and told me that I didn’t make her mad. If she behaves this way next time, I will be changing doctors No one deserves to be treated that way

I had very little wait time after arriving.  The RNP was very cordial and accommodating and listened to my complaints/ailments.  Explained medication she was prescribing after exam.  Very well versed and appeared knowledgeable in her field.  Quite pleased with visit.

First, the staff at this baptist clinic in the most personal and professional, I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with in a long time in a medical setting. No one wants to go to the doctors, but these women were hands down the most respectful and caring. I worked in the medical field for more than twenty years and they are top tier. Thank you to the staff for making my visit less stressful and all about my concerns.

The only thing I think that would be to improve wait time, mine was 2 hours, think that needs to improve.

A great experience for something I had a lot of anxiety about. Had no wait time or issues at the testing center/lab. Had blood drawn at 3pm and had results by email at 9am the next morning.

After receiving my results, I called Quest Lab Testing and discussed the results with a consultation. This consultation filled in my knowledge gaps and made me more aware of my particular situation.

About Pregnancy Tests

A pregnancy test helps you confirm whether you’re pregnant. Many signs and symptoms of pregnancy overlap with other health and medical conditions, but getting a pregnancy test can reveal whether conception is the reason for your symptoms. A missed menstrual period is usually the primary sign of pregnancy, but other causes of a missed period include diabetes, drug abuse, polycystic ovarian syndrome, and oral contraceptives.

Determining whether you’re pregnant is crucial to the health of your unborn baby, as you need to take extra precautions to make sure you and your baby are safe. For example, spending time in environments where you inhale cigarette smoke or toxic fumes is harmful to your fetus, and medications such as opioids carry serious risks for mothers and their unborn children.

Common signs of pregnancy include tender, swollen breasts, nausea and vomiting, fatigue, headaches, increased urination, mood swings, food cravings, and light spotting. If you experience these symptoms regularly, you might be pregnant and can benefit from taking a pregnancy test.

Pregnancy Test FAQs

  • Can I get a free pregnancy test in Bell?

If you don't have health insurance or don't have access to a doctor, a community health clinic or a Planned Parenthood health center may be able to provide you with a free or low-cost pregnancy test. If you do have insurance, many commercial plans will fully cover the cost of a pregnancy test at an in-network provider including primary care doctors, medical laboratories, and both retail clinics and urgent care centers.

  • Where can I get a pregnancy test in Bell?

In general, pregnancy tests will be available at Bell-area urgent care centers, retail clinics, primary care doctor offices, and medical laboratories. While walk-in appointments are typically available, booking a visit online will reduce your wait time and ensure you determine whether or not you are pregnant as soon as possible.

  • How soon can I test for pregnancy?

For the best accurate result, wait until the week following your missed menstruation to take a pregnancy test. If you don't want to wait until your period has skipped, wait at least one to two weeks after you've had sex. If you are pregnant, your body needs time to develop detectable levels of HCG.

  • How much does a pregnancy test cost in Bell?

If you are uninsured, blood tests and urine tests in-clinic can cost anywhere from $50 to $200. This price doesn’t include the doctor’s consultation. Search for general practitioners and women’s health specialists to get a better idea of the cost in the Bell-area today.
