Trauma Centers are hard to manage. A person of 60 having chest pain will get into the back room much faster than a flu victim or minor injury. Nonetheless, when you are in pain, the wait can seem forever, and as we wait, we get anxious and angry. I have been here several times. Yesterday, when I arrived the place was packed. My injury was bad enough to move me to the head of the line. Other times, I had to wait. Perspective is everthing! My doctor, Sanchez, as well as the staff were wonderful. Peace and all good things, in this life and the next.

Overview of STD Testing in Fort Payne

Who should get tested for STDs?

Anyone who is sexually active should consider getting tested for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), regardless of age, gender, or sexual orientation. This is especially true for those with multiple sexual partners, those who have had unprotected sex, or those who have never been tested before. According to the CDC, regular testing is a crucial part of maintaining good sexual health and preventing the spread of STDs.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is essential for several reasons. Many STDs do not show symptoms, meaning you could be infected and not know it. Untreated STDs can lead to serious health complications, including infertility, cancer, and increased risk of contracting HIV. Regular testing can help detect STDs early, when they are most treatable. It also helps protect your partners by preventing the spread of the disease.
