Appointment was at 2:20 and we waited an hour to be seen. There should be no reason a sick child should have to wait that long at an urgent care. Schedule less patients so we can get quality care in a timely manner. I also asked the Dr for nausea meds and she refused and told her to gargle salt water. That is absurd. I always bring my children here but I'm going to find a different urgent care for them after this visit.

My son rolled his ankle a few days prior. I decided to take him to get it looked at. As soon as I walked in I was greater with a smile and the friendliest staff! The wait time was little to nothing and there was not one person that I came in contact with that was not just absolutely wonderful! I’ve been to a lot of urgent cares having three kids that are wild and a lot of the time it’s not very pleasant. This was by far the best experience we’ve ever had.! We will definitely go out of the way to come back here next time.!

Staff was pleasant and professional. Scheduling was fine and e-paperwork was easy. Our only issue was with check-in upon arrival. Scheduled appt ahead of time, arrived at our appointment time, checked in with front desk and paid co-pay, told we would be called back shortly. Received confirmation of check-in 50 min after appointment time. It’s not an unbearable time to wait but in the moment with a child burning in fever and weak, it felt like an eternity especially seeing later arrivals called back. I do understand some cases are more urgent than others. Staff addressed my concern and called us back within 20 minutes of bringing it to their attention. Front desk receptionist said it was an issue with moving our appointment from one screen to another. We were treated with care and were well on our way within 30 minutes of being called back. Total time 2 hours. Not too bad. Just make sure you receive a text confirmation that you’ve been checked-in.

Dr. Michael Eicher and his staff are awesome! The service was a-1 the staff was kind and efficient. I've. Been to uab which is one of the best in the nation and the care at southern immediate care on lakeshore in alabama is second to none. I was so impressed by Dr. Eicher and his staff that I informed him that my primary doctor at uab is retiring effective this year . I ask if he would like to be my primary doctor and he said yes! So just coming in for a d.o..t. physical has convinced me to be a primary patient at southern immediate care because of the excellent service and care I received.

The receptionist was very kind and welcoming and got me checked in quickly, the triage nurse was very attentive and listened to my symptoms, and the NP, Justin, spent a good amount of time following my symptoms and listening to heart and lungs and ears.  They treated me with great care. Overview of STD Testing in Morris

STD testing is an important part of maintaining sexual health, especially for sexually active individuals in Morris. Many sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) are asymptomatic, meaning they do not show noticeable symptoms, making regular testing essential. People with multiple sexual partners or those who engage in unprotected sex are particularly at risk, but testing is recommended for anyone who is sexually active. STD testing in Morris can detect a range of infections early, allowing for timely treatment and reducing the risk of serious health complications such as infertility, cancer, and the spread of infections to others. Local testing options in Morris often include urgent care centers, primary care providers, community health centers, and at-home test kits.

Who should get tested for STDs?

Anyone who is sexually active, especially those with multiple partners, should consider regular STD testing. Testing is also recommended for individuals who engage in unprotected sex or have symptoms of an STD.
