I came here two weeks ago for strep. I tested negative with the swab and the culture also apparently came back negative (I never received a call and followed up myself). Two weeks later the sore throat returned and I have a very swollen tonsil on one side. I was prescribed a second round of antibiotics for strep, which is fine but I’m confused why I wasn’t swabbed again because as far as they know I never tested positive, and could be subjecting myself to another round of antibiotics without knowing for sure it’s strep. I’m confused on how I’m now doing two full treatments for strep with no positive diagnosis. I hope it’s not mono or something else.

Brought my granddaughter in for fever and so throat.  Staff was great !!  Friendly and caring.  Scheduling an appointment on line was very easy.  Our wait time to get into a room to be seen, in my opinion, was unsatisfactory.  We had an 11:00 appointment and never go into a room till almost 12:30.  Because of the staff I would use this urgent care again.  Hopefully the wait would be better.

I do not normally write reviews of any sort, good or bad. However, our experience being here HAD to be recognized. I dont think I have ever come across this level of care. It was STELLAR. My 17 yo daughter had been really unwell with a really bad head cold and really really uncomfortable throat and tonsils. Ran all the usuals, and not so usuals, and everything determined to be viral. Noticing how truly upset and uncomfortable she was, they did not stop there. Dr Gordon and his staff made sure she was at least going to feel better real soon. I could not be happier with the presence of focus, attention and bedside manner this Dr and staff showed us. KUDOS! You guys are true standouts to treatment above and beyond. Thank you.

Went to UC yesterday staff was friendly and very professional, struggled a bit with registration (at my age we all are not computer saby). Besides I was in a lot of pain It took me more time to register than to be seen by the Dr. I don't know where technology is trying to bring us but, while I was struggling with registration the two receptionists where entertaining each other without their cellphones.

My daughter had a UTI on a holiday weekend.  We were able to walk in without an appointment and our wait was not very long. The staff was amazing starting with the receptionist right through to the nurses, Lab Tech and Doctor. They were friendly, kind, patient, efficient, very helpful and informative. They anticipated our needs and were extremely welcoming. Sarah went home with the treatment she needed and a big smile on her face. So did I.   We would highly recommend AFC to anyone looking for medical care. It was the best emergency care experience we ever received.
