Suffering from back pain while waiting for the VA to get off their butts to get me local imagining. VA has only a clinic in our area so they outsource everything. Got tired of the phone tag after a week and my back was hurting badly. I am a retired veteran so I went to you guys for some kind of relief I couldn’t get from the VA. Was seen by the doctor there who at least gave me a couple of steroid shot and a 5 day prescription for some prednisone to relieve my pain. I have at least been able to sleep and move around thanks to this staff. God Bless them …. Still waiting on the VA

Overview of STD Testing in Lake Norman of Catawba

Who should get tested for STDs?

Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) can affect anyone who is sexually active, regardless of age, gender, or sexual orientation. As such, anyone engaging in sexual activity should consider getting tested for STDs. This includes individuals who have multiple sexual partners, those who have had unprotected sex, and those who have never been tested before. It's also important for pregnant women to get tested, as STDs can cause complications during pregnancy and may be passed on to the baby.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is crucial for several reasons. Firstly, many STDs do not exhibit symptoms in the early stages, meaning you could be infected without knowing it. Secondly, early detection and treatment can prevent long-term health complications, such as infertility, certain types of cancer, and other serious health issues. Lastly, getting tested helps prevent the spread of STDs to others. It's an important step in maintaining both your health and the health of your community.
