Alandria and Gracie are always friendly and they took great care of me, they always get the job done, very proficient in everything they do. I recommend everyone to come here but then again I don’t want everyone to be here because I want to gate-keep you guys so bad I should be the only patient, So selfish of me, I love Quick Doc, you guys are stuck with me for life. The whole staff is also friendly, To sum it all up I recommend this place, Thank you so much.

I was able to choose a Labcorp location and schedule an appointment. Check in was easy, and I only needed to provide my name and DOB. They were able to locate my order in their system. They were already aware that my labs were paid for prior to the appointment. I had my labs done on a Wednesday, and I received my results by Saturday. Great experience.

This place surprised the socks off me. In the past, I have always use an ER for urgent care. This morning, after bleeding for 15 hours from a small prick in my stomach, my wife suggested we go to this clinic. When we arrive, we were taken straight to a treatment room where a nurse removed the several bandages that bled through again. When she removed enough to see the accumulated blood, she left the room quickly and returned almost instantly with a male co-worker who could have been a doctor, PA, nurse or janitor. In less that ten minutes, he had applied silver nitrate and completely stopped the bleeding! No identification nor billing question were asked until after the end of treatment.

Overview of STD Testing in Mount Airy

Who should get tested for STDs?

Anyone who is sexually active should consider getting tested for STDs, regardless of their age, gender, or sexual orientation. This is especially true for those with multiple sexual partners, those who do not consistently use condoms, and those who have had an STD in the past. According to the CDC, sexually active women under 25, men who have sex with men, and individuals with HIV are particularly at risk and should get tested regularly.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is crucial for several reasons. Firstly, many STDs do not show symptoms, meaning you could be infected and not know it. Secondly, untreated STDs can lead to serious health complications, such as infertility and increased risk of HIV. Lastly, knowing your status can help prevent the spread of STDs to others.
