I came into Dr. Care with a migraine and extreme vomiting. Neicole Black, P.A. And her staff were extremely compassionate and provided excellent care for me. She assessed my condition and quickly had her nurse give me meds and a shot to relieve the headache. They had me up and going again in less than an hour. I will continue to use Dr. Care if I need medical attention. . A trip to the ER would have cost me considerably more and the wait time would have been hours. Thank you Dr. Care on Hoffmeyer Road. Sincerely, Kay McSwain

Overview of STD Testing in Florence

Who should get tested for STDs?

Anyone who is sexually active should consider getting tested for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). This is particularly important for those who have multiple sexual partners, are under the age of 25, or are men who have sex with men, as these groups are at a higher risk according to the CDC. It's also essential for pregnant women to get tested, as STDs can have severe health impacts on both the mother and the baby.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is crucial for several reasons. First, many STDs do not show symptoms initially, meaning you could be infected and not know it. This can lead to severe health complications down the line if left untreated. Second, knowing your STD status can help prevent the spread of these diseases to your sexual partners. Finally, early detection and treatment can often lead to better health outcomes.
