After 3 days of not feeling well went to our nearest AFC UC and was greeted with friendly faces and helpful staff. Confirmed my illness with testing by Breyahana and meds sent to my pharmacy (although not a lot of explanation about meds by NP Perry - just advised to take them b/c of age related to diagnosis.) In/out in less than 35 minutes. Overall satisfied with our visit!

Overview of STD Testing in Fort Mill

Who should get tested for STDs?

Anyone who is sexually active should consider getting tested for STDs. This is particularly important for those who have multiple sexual partners, have had unprotected sex, or have symptoms of an STD. According to the CDC, sexually active women under the age of 25, men who have sex with men, and individuals with HIV should get tested regularly.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is crucial for maintaining good sexual health. Early detection and treatment can prevent serious health complications such as infertility, certain types of cancer, and increased risk of HIV. Moreover, many STDs are asymptomatic, meaning they show no symptoms. Therefore, regular testing is the only way to know for sure if you have an STD.
