I was in and out quickly. Staff was great. Problems not resolved. I know arthritis pain. Have had it for years what's going on with me is different. Was told if my thumbs were outta joint they would be bruising. My daughter's elbow was popped outta joint two times with no bruising. So I am dealing with unbearable pain. Will not go back to this facility. My health is not a joke. Do not recommend Colleen Malone. Got x-rays if my hands somewhere else, my thumbs were separated from my hands. So her diagnosis was not right due to just guessing and not taking my injury seriously 😒.

Overview of STD Testing in Etowah

Who should get tested for STDs?

Anyone who is sexually active should consider getting tested for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). This includes individuals who are in monogamous relationships, as well as those who have multiple partners. Those who engage in unprotected sex or share needles for drug use are at an increased risk. Additionally, pregnant women should get tested to prevent passing any potential infections to their babies. According to the CDC, regular testing is recommended for individuals between the ages of 13 and 64.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is crucial for maintaining good health. Many STDs do not show symptoms in the early stages, which means they can go unnoticed and untreated. This can lead to serious health complications, including infertility, organ damage, and increased risk of HIV. Regular testing allows for early detection and treatment, reducing the risk of complications. Additionally, knowing your STD status can help protect your sexual partners from potential infection.
