I was very surprised with my experience here. My appointment was made very quickly. I was seen in a very short period of time. My test results came back in a very timely manner. I can't imagine a better doctor or office in the Knoxville TN area than Dr's Clay and Stacy Stalcup. They have been taking care of me for years, well over 10 years and I am very grateful for their kindness and compassion. My family goes to their office for all their care as well. Dr Clay is very patient and asks the right questions and helps us when we have problems. I see that there is only one review on this site and it's a 1 star, so I can't imagine why someone would do that to this group of doctors. They are the best! I highly recommend them. There has never been a time in which I would have had any reason to complain about their care. Thank you.

Overview of STD Testing in Morristown

Who should get tested for STDs?

According to the CDC, everyone who is sexually active should get tested for STDs. This includes individuals who have multiple sexual partners, those who have had unprotected sex, and anyone who has been notified by a partner that they have an STD. It's also important for pregnant women to get tested, as some STDs can be passed to the baby during pregnancy or childbirth.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is a crucial part of maintaining your overall health. Many STDs do not show symptoms, so you could be infected and not know it. If left untreated, STDs can lead to serious health complications such as infertility, certain types of cancer, and increased risk of HIV. Regular testing can help catch any infections early, making them easier to treat. Additionally, knowing your status can help prevent the spread of STDs to others.
