The assistant that brought me back to the exam room could not have been more robotic, unfriendly and cold; horrible bedside manners. Fortunately this type of behavior is rare at this clinic. The front staff, checkout and Megan were 5-✰☆ great!

Last time I came here, my whole experience was a nightmare. They looked like they changed ownership so I gave another try. The experience was so simple. Everyone was easy to talk too and  I had barely any wait time. The women I saw were pleasant and efficient. I was out the door quickly and my prescription was called in by the time I got to the pharmacy.

Overview of STD Testing in The Colony

Who should get tested for STDs?

Anyone who is sexually active should consider getting tested for STDs, especially those with multiple partners or those who do not consistently use protection during sexual activity. It's important to note that many STDs can be asymptomatic, meaning they present no visible symptoms. This makes regular testing crucial for early detection and treatment. Parents and adults in the age range of 25-40 years should also consider getting tested, as the CDC reports that half of the nearly 20 million new STDs reported each year are among young people aged 15–24 years, indicating that older populations may also be at risk.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is a vital part of maintaining your overall health. Early detection of STDs can prevent serious health complications, such as infertility, certain types of cancer, and increased susceptibility to HIV. Additionally, many STDs can be easily treated and cured if caught early. According to the CDC, regular STD testing can also help to prevent the spread of these diseases, protecting not only your health but the health of your partners and community.
