Everything was good except for one thing... She did the quick results in front of me and I was very surprised and unprepared for one of the results to be a non-negative. It turned out to be because of a prescription that I'm on. It was very unsettling. They should ask about prescriptions and/or provide a list of medications that will affect the results. We have enough anxiety in society already.

Overview of STD Testing in Battle Ground

Who should get tested for STDs?

Everyone who is sexually active should consider getting tested for STDs, regardless of their age, gender, or sexual orientation. This is particularly important for those who have multiple sexual partners, engage in unprotected sex, or use intravenous drugs. According to the CDC, sexually active women under 25, men who have sex with men, and pregnant women are among the groups most at risk and should be tested regularly.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is crucial for your health and the health of your sexual partners. Many STDs can be asymptomatic, meaning they present no symptoms, but can still be transmitted to others and cause serious health problems if left untreated. It also helps to control the spread of these diseases in the community.
