I went to urgent care because I had a infection from a scratch on my head and it spread .. I went there for the first time walked in and the receptionist took my info . I started to sit down but the nurse was already calling my name . The very friendly professional nurse took blood pressure.and ask some questions . As she walk out the doctor came in . She was very nice and professional look at my head and neck and confirmed it was a infection . She gave me antibiotic . Total time was about 15 minutes . . I would recommend the urgent care .. And now I will be seeing a doctor there .. I will be doing a review .. Thanks Debbie

Today I took both of my granddaughters to the Urgent Care in Delafield, WI. In this day and age people only usually call to complain. This is a great note for the staff at that Urgent Care. I have never felt more welcomed and comfortable in a Dr.'s office. My granddaughters were lucky enough to see Dr. Michael Long. He has fabulous bedside manner and was amazing with the kids. Even they were comfortable at 5 and 18 months. His staff brought them stickers and my offered a juice box to the 5 year old after some bad tasting medicine. Our family is lucky to have had a fantastic pediatrician for the last 32 years. I will now consider this location myself if I have to be seen in as swift as manner as the girls did today. Overall I give this location an A+.

Overview of STD Testing in Whitewater

Who should get tested for STDs?

Anyone who is sexually active should consider getting tested for STDs, especially if they have multiple partners or are not consistently using protection such as condoms. This includes both men and women, regardless of sexual orientation. It's also important for pregnant women to get tested as STDs can have serious health impacts for both the mother and baby. According to the CDC, certain groups are at a higher risk for STDs and should be tested regularly. These include sexually active women under 25, men who have sex with men, and individuals with HIV.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is essential for maintaining good sexual health. Many STDs do not show symptoms, meaning you could be infected and unknowingly spreading the disease to your partners. Early detection through testing allows for quicker treatment, reducing the risk of severe health complications such as infertility, certain types of cancer, and increased susceptibility to HIV. Regular testing also helps to prevent the spread of STDs in the community.
