I woke up and the side of my face was swollen, under my eye and down my jawline.  Made an appointment online, staff was nice and very accommodating.  A little wait for the Dr. but that was okay because he was able to diagnose the problem and explained what was needed to get better.

I usually have a real positive experience at your facility. But this time it was not as much so. I still left with pain and nothing really to help. The only positive thing was he told me what the problem was. I do have an appointment with my orthopedic doctor tomorrow. I do appreciate having the insight as to what the problem was.

This was my first time at Little Spurs. Wait time was average but the customer service outweighed the wait. From staft to finish the ladies were extremely pleasant. The waiting room is nicely painted for a pediatric facility and I appreciated the TV with favorite animated movies playing. Yes, I would recommend and yes I will be returning for my son's urgent needs. THANKS LITTLE SPURS (Casa View location)

Overview of STD Testing in Grand Prairie

Who should get tested for STDs?

Anyone who is sexually active should consider getting tested for STDs, especially if they have multiple partners or are not consistently using protection. This includes individuals who identify as heterosexual, homosexual, or bisexual. According to the CDC, certain groups are at a higher risk for STDs, such as young people aged 15-24 and men who have sex with men. In Grand Prairie, TX, it's important for residents to be proactive about their sexual health, regardless of their age, gender, or sexual orientation.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is a crucial part of maintaining overall health. Early detection and treatment can prevent long-term complications, such as infertility, certain types of cancer, and increased risk of HIV. Additionally, many STDs can be asymptomatic, meaning they do not show any signs or symptoms. Regular testing ensures that these silent infections are caught early. According to the CDC, regular STD testing can also help reduce the spread of these diseases in the community.
