I was seen before 3pm and the prescriptions were supposed to have been sent to the pharmacy but as of 5:40pm the pharmacy still had not received the prescription from the doctor and the pharmacy closes at 6pm.  Won’t be starting the medication tonight.

Over all My experience was handled in a timely manner.  My only disappointment with this visit was the attitude of the provider. Office staff was very professional. Due to me being uncomfortable I refused assistance to get something examined and was met with an attitude and rude tonality from the provider as if I was annoying her due to being back and forth on my choice. I was uncomfortable ……..  I asked her about her tone and mentioned how unprofessional I felt she was handling my choices and apologized. She carried on with an attitude and was discharged . I get people make things hard but don’t feel the comments and Attitude was necessary from a provider in this field. I suggest more diverse  staff to help people be comfortable about who they want to look at them when they feel uncomfortable. God bless .

I paid a 100$ more for a dot physical then what the average in Alabama is charged. My company is not paying for it. So I had to pay myself. I have 4 daughters and that's taking money I need for them away. And I don't appreciate being charged that much for a minimal visit.

I went in with severe pain in my ears. I booked an appointment with ease. The receptionist was very, very knowledgeable of her job which expedited less wait time. The receiving nurse was very nurturing and caring. She treated my illness like it was her own. The Nurse-Practitioner's knowledge was exquisite, and displayed zenith medical knowledge. She was idiosyncratic with my situation. She was caring, nurturing and straightforward. I rate this medical 5-Star. I recommend this facility 100%.

Jax was so helpful on the phone explaining to me how to make an appointment online. Check in was easy and Jax is kind and patient. This group of staff, in my opinion, is outstanding in ways I may not experience here with other staff or at other places! From taking of vitals to visiting with Nikki I feel cared for, and cared about. I am so grateful for Nikki’s extensive medical knowledge, her listening ability, and the willingness to learn more about a patient and patients health. And I must add that I absolutely love her sense of humor! Humor is a tool in my medicine cabinet, so having a medical professional of her quality with that sense of humor helps keep me up, when I am at a low. It’s the glass half full! Thank you to you all for helping me! Merry Christmas  Note to Nikki I guess I did do a review for the HH ER, because they just sent me an option to review today. Haha I would do a review if they had the Solv option. I don’t do google. And so, please erase that review for me.  On my behalf……I have been pretty sick and didn’t use my phone part of the week. Haha

I was able to choose a Labcorp location and schedule an appointment. Check in was easy, and I only needed to provide my name and DOB. They were able to locate my order in their system. They were already aware that my labs were paid for prior to the appointment. I had my labs done on a Wednesday, and I received my results by Saturday. Great experience.

Blood and urine were collected, test results came back quickly within 2 days because I did my test on a Friday. Quick, easy and cheap. Didn't have to wait for a visit to my PCP, and then get referral to lab.

Getting tested for Tuberculosis

A tuberculosis test identifies whether or not you've ever been infected. It won't tell you whether your illness is current or latent, but it will tell you if you've had this bacterial infection before.

A tuberculosis test can be performed on the skin or in the blood. Neither test necessitates any extra preparation.

During the skin test, the TB test provider injects a small protein called PPD beneath the first layer of your skin. A positive reaction to PPD, which is generated from tuberculosis bacteria, can indicate that you have had tuberculosis. After 48 to 72 hours, the TB test provider will request that you return to the clinic so that the injection site may be thoroughly checked to confirm or rule out a positive result.

During the blood test, the TB test practitioner takes a small sample of blood from your arm with a tiny needle. Following that, your sample is sent to a lab for examination and determination of whether or not you have tuberculosis.

When you have TB symptoms, you should get a tuberculosis test. Fever, chest pain, exhaustion, night sweats, unexplained weight loss, a cough that lasts at least three weeks, and coughing up blood are all symptoms of tuberculosis.

A tuberculosis test may be ordered if you are deemed to be at high risk for tuberculosis. A weaker immune system, contact with people who have tuberculosis, or travel to a country where tuberculosis is common are all risk factors for tuberculosis. Furthermore, some employers, including healthcare facilities, correctional facilities, and people who work or volunteer at homeless shelters, require employees to receive tuberculosis tests on a regular basis.

TB Test FAQs

  • What does a positive TB test look like?

When you take the TB skin test, a huge bump will appear on your arm at the injection site if you have had a TB infection. During your visit, your doctor or the TB test provider will measure and check the bump to see if you have TB.
