Everyone was nice but the wait time is horrible. That’s why sick people don’t go to the doctor because they have to wait.

Overall, I am quite satisfied with the care I received. Ms. Robinson the NP made me feel confident in the diagnosis and the care I received. There was a little confusion at a point in my visit and she came back in to answer my questions. I wish I knew the names of the other people involved in my care because I would give a shout out to each of them. The check appointment process and check in was a breeze using the Solv website. When I arrived the woman at the desk greeted me and was very friendly. The staff member that brought me back and did my vital signs was also very friendly. When the same woman came in to draw my labs, she was very friendly and did a fantastic job. I didn't feel a thing and it was very quick. The woman who did my x-ray was friendly and professional. The process was fast, and I had the results back as quickly as they said they would have them which often isn't the case in modern healthcare. I could tell from the number of people who came and went during my visit, and I knew they were busy. I felt they did a great job of limiting wait times, providing care, and getting me back to work. I would highly recommend the Baptist Urgent Care on Cantrell Road to anyone who needs good care in a timely manner.

I was able to walk into the clinic and check in and fill out my paperwork and I was called back within a five minute wait. I was in and out in about 30 minutes total. The longest was waiting on my test to come back to see what I had. The nurse practitioner did a great job.

Went as a walk in and never been there before. Got checked in right away and was called to the back before I got the online stuff filled out completely. The weight, blood pressure, and questions etc were done right then. Less than 10 minutes till the PA came in and he was very thorough with his exam. X-ray and a nebulizer treatment next. Sent the scripts to the pharmacy(I got notification that it had been received by the pharmacy before I left the office), and got a steroid shot on my way out. All of the staff were very friendly and thorough with what they did with me. I’ll go back again and I’ll recommend them to anyone needing urgent care.

Amazing staff. I showed up when they were getting ready to leave, with a deep cut to the finger that needed stitching. They were very nice and considerate and reopened their triage and computers to get me checked in. Everyone was caring, friendly and efficient. It was a great experience.

I was able to choose a Quest lab location and schedule an appointment. Check in was easy, and I only needed to provide my name and DOB. They were able to locate my order in their system. They were already aware that my labs were paid for prior to the appointment. I had my labs done on a Wednesday, and I received my results by Saturday. Great experience.

I came in one day without an appoint and waited two hours as a walk-in before I had to leave without being tested. I made an appointment through Quest Lab Testing for the next day, showed up on time, got tested easily and was on my way in 15-20 minutes. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Getting tested for Tuberculosis

A tuberculosis test identifies whether or not you've ever been infected. It won't tell you whether your illness is current or latent, but it will tell you if you've had this bacterial infection before.

A tuberculosis test can be performed on the skin or in the blood. Neither test necessitates any extra preparation.

During the skin test, the TB test provider injects a small protein called PPD beneath the first layer of your skin. A positive reaction to PPD, which is generated from tuberculosis bacteria, can indicate that you have had tuberculosis. After 48 to 72 hours, the TB test provider will request that you return to the clinic so that the injection site may be thoroughly checked to confirm or rule out a positive result.

During the blood test, the TB test practitioner takes a small sample of blood from your arm with a tiny needle. Following that, your sample is sent to a lab for examination and determination of whether or not you have tuberculosis.

When you have TB symptoms, you should get a tuberculosis test. Fever, chest pain, exhaustion, night sweats, unexplained weight loss, a cough that lasts at least three weeks, and coughing up blood are all symptoms of tuberculosis.

A tuberculosis test may be ordered if you are deemed to be at high risk for tuberculosis. A weaker immune system, contact with people who have tuberculosis, or travel to a country where tuberculosis is common are all risk factors for tuberculosis. Furthermore, some employers, including healthcare facilities, correctional facilities, and people who work or volunteer at homeless shelters, require employees to receive tuberculosis tests on a regular basis.

TB Test FAQs

When you take the TB skin test, a huge bump will appear on your arm at the injection site if you have had a TB infection.
