The visit was fine. I could not get my medicine until the next day because the prescription was not called in. I went back to the office and asked for it the next day. It was finally called in. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. I was happy to get to talk with her. I finally got it about four on Sunday.

Great discreet service, scheduled my visit and paid for for the test online not in Showed up at lab, checked in and was seen within minutes. Blood and urine were collected, test results came back quickly within 2 days because I did my test on a Friday. Quick, easy and cheap. Didn't have to wait for a visit to my PCP, and then get referral to lab.

While I cannot speak for everyone at the clinic, this review is for Dr Dabbs, Dr Coon, and Rachel Sledge. For more than a decade, this urgent care has been my go to for most illnesses, injuries, and referrals. I highly respect all three of these professionals, and I don't believe I have ever been let down by them for any reason. Level of care has been excellent, and (at least what I get billed for after insurance) has been far more reasonable than almost any other medical facility I have dealt with. While the wait time can be slightly challenging, this is offset by the Drs being patient and answering any questions that might arise. I have never once, for any reason, felt rushed when it comes to treatment, and two separate times that thoroughness found a different underlying issue to what symptoms presented. The staff has always been friendly and courteous, and while it is not the fanciest of surroundings, or wait area, it is clean with more than enough comfortable seating. I would recommend this clinic, and in particular these three professionals, with enthusiasm and trust in their abilities.

I went in not knowing what was wrong, but felt like I was dying. The hospital was slammed with people having the flu, but they got me in fast and checked me out. I ended up in ICU having surgery and on heavy IV antibiotics because I had a kidney infection that went septic. They released me 2 days before Christmas luckily, so I could be home with my 4 children. The care and beside manner was excellent. Thank you for saving my life and getting me back home with my children.

Covid testing!! So I have3kids that DON’T like any kind of doctors office not even when it’s a checkup. My middle child was exposed to covid at some point last week and started having some symptoms late at night so we decided to bring him in. The wait was about the same as any urgent clinics&we were able to wait in the car until called. The lady that called, Kim maybe? Was a bit rude and eager to get off the phone. But when told to come in, we were actually met by nurse Jessica and went to room 1 I think. My child was just in tears as to what was going to be done. That changed pretty quickly though. The nurse noticed the fear immediately grabbed some tissues and knelt down beside him. She asked was he nervous &he said yes, the nurse agreed that was okay and said she too was nervous bc this virus is scary, but that’s why he needed a test to see if he was sick. She was SOO patient with him&explained everything she was doing.&they talked about Xbox-&by doing that she was able to get his blood pressure etc AND swab him without a flinch. This mama was AMAZED! GUC is definitely our new urgent care! Although he tested positive, his nurse Jessica was all he talked about. Highly recommend!!!

I go to this office before i go anywhere! I have always had a great experience and even when the family had to go in together. I hate needles but they have a nurse that’s very gentle and sweet. They are very informative on what they are doing to you and for you. They explain everything they can and think you need to know. I would recommend them any time.

Getting tested for Tuberculosis

A tuberculosis test identifies whether or not you've ever been infected. It won't tell you whether your illness is current or latent, but it will tell you if you've had this bacterial infection before.

A tuberculosis test can be performed on the skin or in the blood. Neither test necessitates any extra preparation.

During the skin test, the TB test provider injects a small protein called PPD beneath the first layer of your skin. A positive reaction to PPD, which is generated from tuberculosis bacteria, can indicate that you have had tuberculosis. After 48 to 72 hours, the TB test provider will request that you return to the clinic so that the injection site may be thoroughly checked to confirm or rule out a positive result.

During the blood test, the TB test practitioner takes a small sample of blood from your arm with a tiny needle. Following that, your sample is sent to a lab for examination and determination of whether or not you have tuberculosis.

When you have TB symptoms, you should get a tuberculosis test. Fever, chest pain, exhaustion, night sweats, unexplained weight loss, a cough that lasts at least three weeks, and coughing up blood are all symptoms of tuberculosis.

A tuberculosis test may be ordered if you are deemed to be at high risk for tuberculosis. A weaker immune system, contact with people who have tuberculosis, or travel to a country where tuberculosis is common are all risk factors for tuberculosis. Furthermore, some employers, including healthcare facilities, correctional facilities, and people who work or volunteer at homeless shelters, require employees to receive tuberculosis tests on a regular basis.
