If the staff could cut out the noisy conversations with each other in the back then they could devote more time getting patients through in a more timely manner. Very impressed with Dr. Holly Graber.

Why have us complete the information on the app if you are going to require the same information on paper at the Urgent Care. Irritating and a waste of time completing the on-line information.

Dr. Julianna Mustafa was outstanding. She patiently listened to my symptoms and history, gave a focused exam, ordered an xray, and quickly returned to give the results and medications. She kindly followed up with a phone call later after conferring with a colleague. She has a wonderful bedside manner and explains in a concise and easy to understand manner. Thank you so much

Called last Friday to schedule my annual wellness visit with Dr Lang. I was told Lang had retired and Tri County was under new ownership. I scheduled my appointment with Dr. Gibbs at 8:30 on Tuesday. When I arrived for my appointment I was told to scan a QR code and begin to 20 minutes of electronic paper work. I also discovered not one of my medical records for the last 30+ years was available. I finally was led to an examination room at 9:30. With no records available Dr Gibbs and I muddled our way through the appointment. The next day, Wednesday, I woke up coughing up green phlegm. I called the facility to speak with Dr Gibbs? Was told he would not be back in the office until the following Tuesday! Instead of driving an hour and a half to Hartville for a clinic that I was well known at, but I’m now a nobody I drove 15 minutes down the road to a new clinic and found out that I had influenza B. Since I have to look for a new physician I might as well get one closer to home.

I had what I thought was a bad cold that ended up being Covid. I was able to schedule an appointment in minutes and was seen right away. The facility was clean and the staff were so warm and friendly. My doctor was great, her bedside manner was on point and she was great at explaining the course of treatment. I was in and out so fast and they sent my prescription to a 24 hour pharmacy right away. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

My son was sent home from school twice after missing two days and I decided to bring him in because his school needed a school excuse for any days going forward. I told the CNP that my son has Chiari 1 brain malformation and when he coughs constantly it aggravates it giving him intense migraines. He replied with "Yeah that's way over my head". He then diagnosed my son with bronchitis. Then asks my son, obviously a CHILD....when HE thought he could return to school which my son replied "I want to go tomorrow because there's a Christmas store at school". So the provider then decides since my CHILD wants to go to school tomorrow it's not necessary to excuse him for any more days. I do not understand how a provider who is in charge of medical care and prescriptions has never heard of medical conditions and then therefore can't make the connection between the condition and current symptoms. How is he even writing prescriptions if he doesn't know how it will effect the condition? And then he puts decision making on a child. I use your facility for care frequently when our doctors can not get us in right away. But I will not be back. I'll be going to Westshore Primary Care walk in clinic in Avon from now on. At least their staff is aware of medical conditions and discuss decision making with the parents. Its worth a longer drive.

Getting tested for Tuberculosis

A tuberculosis test identifies whether or not you've ever been infected. It won't tell you whether your illness is current or latent, but it will tell you if you've had this bacterial infection before.

A tuberculosis test can be performed on the skin or in the blood. Neither test necessitates any extra preparation.

During the skin test, the TB test provider injects a small protein called PPD beneath the first layer of your skin. A positive reaction to PPD, which is generated from tuberculosis bacteria, can indicate that you have had tuberculosis. After 48 to 72 hours, the TB test provider will request that you return to the clinic so that the injection site may be thoroughly checked to confirm or rule out a positive result.

During the blood test, the TB test practitioner takes a small sample of blood from your arm with a tiny needle. Following that, your sample is sent to a lab for examination and determination of whether or not you have tuberculosis.

When you have TB symptoms, you should get a tuberculosis test. Fever, chest pain, exhaustion, night sweats, unexplained weight loss, a cough that lasts at least three weeks, and coughing up blood are all symptoms of tuberculosis.

A tuberculosis test may be ordered if you are deemed to be at high risk for tuberculosis. A weaker immune system, contact with people who have tuberculosis, or travel to a country where tuberculosis is common are all risk factors for tuberculosis. Furthermore, some employers, including healthcare facilities, correctional facilities, and people who work or volunteer at homeless shelters, require employees to receive tuberculosis tests on a regular basis.
