I had been experiencing symptoms for a short period of time and they got worse over the weekend and wasn’t able to make it to my PCP. So I scheduled an appointment because the symptoms weren’t bad enough to go to the ED. The wait time was bad it took almost 2 hours after my appointment time to be seen but the staff was friendly and the provider listened to me and answered my concerns. I would definitely recommend her.

So grateful Baptist Health set up shop on JFK. Staff and medical team EXCELLENT! I had an emergency with my son.  Nasal Polyps flared. The DOCTOR AND NURSING STAFF WAS knowledgeable and took the time needed to explain his condition. They also called the meds in quickly.

Went to work feeling bad with a sore throat fever and chest congestion. But i went on a head and finished my short shift. After work I went on a head did a walk-in visit at Baptist urgent Care the waiting was amazing soon as I checked in not even 5 minutes I was called to see the doctor's nurse went over everything with me and check my temperature, cotton swab my nose and mouth for covid and the flu. The nurse told me to be about no more than 25 minutes or less for the results and the doctor sure enough arrives and was very pleasant and nice talk to me explain to me my results and it wasn't covid it was the flu then the doctor recommended I I take a few days off from work and take my medicine that she prescribed to me along with rest and drinking plenty of water. Happy patient 😀👍👌

No openings were available for today. But the receptionist was extremely helpful to get me in as a walk-in. All the way to discharge, all were great. Just curious why I wasn’t prescribed paxlovid. I will definitely recommend this health unit for care.  Thank you

We were visiting from out of town and came in without an appointment after a fall caused a skin injury to my leg. After giving some preliminary information we were seen within 10 minutes. After taking my vitals, my wound was assessed, materials gathered, and treatment was completed. Then a dressing was applied and we were given medication and dressing materials needed for a change of the dressing later in the week. Everyone we contacted was knowledgeable, caring, professional and treated us like family. We would recommend this facility to anyone who requires urgent care. Thank you all for taking such good care of us!

This was my second visit in last 6 months and just like my first it is a great place to go for treatment . Super clean and really nice staff . Check in on line and set a hold spot for me and couldn’t have been any better . My spouse went on a weekend and said that was not what happened with her so I’m sure they have busy times also but during the weekdays is great .

Left from work at 7:10PM and looking for an urgent care visit. We dropped by one in Cantrell but they said they can’t accommodate me anymore. I felt so bad about the healthcare system in my emergency situation bit came across urgentcare360.They were still open and the frontdesk was kind enough to ask me what I need.I was attended immediately as I filled up the form. After the exams, I was worried where could be a Pharmacy open at past 8 in the evening. They sent my meds to Wellington which was open until 9. It’s my first time to be at this urgent care and I highly recommend it to others.I am a healthcare worker myself and it feels good to have such group in times of health issues.

I would 100% recommend this company to anyone wanting to check their health status. The process was incredibly easy and done through certified labs. The results are frequently back by the next day.

I came in one day without an appoint and waited two hours as a walk-in before I had to leave without being tested. I made an appointment through Quest Lab Testing for the next day, showed up on time, got tested easily and was on my way in 15-20 minutes. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Service was great. The receptionist was very efficient and kind to everybody, the doctor. It was excellent and friendly put me at ease, since I was diagnosed with Covid, and the nurse was very kind. I must mention the approach from the young lady that call my name, not the receptionist, but she was rude to me because it's a small waiting room, and this is it predominant angle, white neighborhood, enemies funny, but I was well dressed, and I speak English clearly, but this young lady raise the voice across the hall, asking me in a rude way for my debit card, and when I ask if it was any deductible, because I was the first time I use Medicare she was rude, she goes. I need to check first, but the tone of voice was very rude. I said do not yell at me across the hallway, I approach her on the counter, and she raise her voice like, if I didn't understand, to the point with everybody looked, and I said you do not have to raise your voice to me, I do have an accent, but I do speak. Big difference between the way she talk to me and to the other Anglo and African-American patients. Otherwise, great service is not the first time I visit this facility.

The nurse practitioner was SO nice! She was genuinely concerned and asked multiple questions. I had been feeling tired and run down for weeks. I had also been to my family doctor a couple times for this with no resolution. After I mentioned a couple other symptoms I was having I was asked to give a Urine sample and was diagnosed with a UTI. Yes I’d recommend this provider.

Book a urinalysis online

Urinary Tract Infection
The Urinalysis UTI Test checks for various substances in your urine and to look for evidence of a urinary tract infection.

Arkansas Urinalysis Tests

A urinalysis is a test that looks for chemicals in the urine that could suggest an ailment, disease, or infection. The majority of urine tests necessitate urinating into a sterile cup, which is subsequently sent to a lab for additional investigation. Depending on the ailment for which you are being tested, at-home urine tests may be offered.

A urine test may be used as part of a standard medical examination to detect or rule out disorders like diabetes, kidney disease, and urinary tract infections. It can also be used to confirm pregnancy or detect blood or kidney stones.

A urinalysis evaluates the color, odor, appearance, and acidity level of your urine, among other things. Your urine may also be tested for the presence of germs and bacteria, cells and crystals, and chemicals such as protein, glucose, and ketones that aren't normally found in urine but could signal a problem.

Urine tests normally don't require any preparation, although the urinalysis testing provider may inquire about any prescription or over-the-counter medications you're taking, as some of them may influence the color of your urine. The testing provider may also advise that you go to the lab or clinic early in the morning to do the test, which is what you should do.

You will be asked to deliver a tiny urine sample into a sterile cup for a urine test performed at a lab or clinic. To prevent microorganisms from contaminating the sample, your doctor or urinalysis testing provider may advise you to wash your vaginal area with mild soap and water before the test. Your urine sample will then be analyzed in a lab to see if there are any abnormalities that could suggest illness or disease.

Depending on the type of urine test taken, results can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few days to arrive. If required, your doctor or the urinalysis testing provider may contact you directly to discuss your results and treatment options.

Urinalysis FAQs

  • How much does a urine test cost in Arkansas?

The cost of urine tests varies depending on a number of criteria, including the type of test, test provider rates, and your geographic region. A urine test may be less expensive for those whose health insurance policies cover it. To confirm the cost of urinalysis testing, contact the urinalysis provider directly, or check with your health insurance provider to see if they will cover the cost.

  • Does insurance cover urine testing in Arkansas?

Many health insurance policies include urine testing, especially if your doctor deems it medically necessary based on your symptoms and health condition. To discover more about your plan's features and to confirm whether urine testing is covered, contact your health insurance provider directly. Prior to your consultation, some urinalysis providers may be able to check your insurance benefits.

  • What types of tests are done through urinalysis?

There are various sorts of urine tests that can be used to screen for certain health issues and medical disorders. A glucose urine test, for example, can be used to diagnose and monitor diabetes, but a protein urine test is often used to detect renal illness. Urine tests for bilirubin, ketones, and red blood cells are just a few of the various types of urine tests that your doctor may request.

  • What can be detected through a urinalysis?

A urinalysis is a test that looks for chemicals in the urine that could suggest the presence of a sickness, disease, or infection. Bacteria, blood, creatinine, nitrite, and white blood cells are just a few of the many things that urinalysis can identify. A urinalysis can also be used to confirm pregnancy by detecting elevated cholesterol levels, high crystal concentrations, urine acidity level (pH value), and urine acidity level (pH value).

  • How do I read urine test results?

A visual examination, a microscope, or a dipstick—a thin, plastic strip that changes color when abnormalities are detected—can all be used to assess and interpret urine test findings. Urine test results are normally interpreted by a doctor or a lab technician in hospitals, clinics, and labs. The majority of at-home urine test kits sold by pharmacies and other providers come with thorough instructions on how to read and interpret the findings of your urine test.

  • How long does it take to get urine test results in Arkansas?

Based on criteria such as the type of test, lab wait times, and the method used to interpret data, urine test results could be available in minutes or several days. Dipstick urine tests used to diagnose pregnancy, for example, frequently give findings in a matter of minutes. The urinalysis testing company can provide you a more precise estimate of when you should expect your findings.

  • Where should I get a urinalysis in Arkansas?

A primary care physician, walk-in laboratory, or hospital can perform a urinalysis. Some urine tests can be done at home in the comfort of your own home. Inquire with your doctor about where you can obtain a urinalysis, or use Solv to find top-rated urinalysis providers in your region and schedule a same-day appointment.

This method of collecting urine helps to avoid bacterial contamination, which can lead to erroneous test findings. Furthermore, washing the vaginal area before providing a urine sample will assist you prevent receiving incorrect test results.
