Scheduling was easy via Solv, but no coordination between Solv and the office resulted in multiple duplicate bookings and unacceptable wait time.  2:30 appointment confirmed by Solv, actual check-in 4:55.  Staff was friendly and courteous, but front desk staff was overwhelmed.  Provider and staff were prompt once I was checked in and appointment was quick and efficient.  Care and bedside manner were top notch.

So convenient to go on the phone app and find an appointment! Got in early and I don't think I waited 5 minutes before I was taken back. Was in and out in probably 15 minutes or less with a prescription sent to my Pharmacy.

An hour and three quarters wait for a 10 minute visit — filling out paperwork online, only to have to fill out the same paperwork again once in the office , NOT particularly impressive 🙄

Recent Lab Tests Reviews (20)

I had expected the waiting time is long and put my name in the waiting list. The receptionist was courteous and got me in within a couple hours instead of the 5 hours wait time. They were thorough and tested me for strep throat and COVID, which I’m glad that both tests were negative. Overall, I’m happy with the service.

I was a little taken back that the staff who took me into my room and obtain my vital signs asked my if I had Covid test recently, of course due to by cold-like symptoms. I told her I just got Covid Swab from my work several hours ago. She said I should not be in here and should be quarantine for 14 days, because I could be infecting everyone. I told her I can leave and she said to stay. I didn’t get into the dialog, but it didn’t make sense to me that if you have been swabbed you can’t come in, but if you haven’t then you can? The ARNP did not seem to think this was so. Also I called and told the staff at the front desk before I came. Even though I was Covid Swab I had not seen a provider. So it just didn’t make sense? However the front desk were polite and ARNP was excellent!

The training MA and the person training her were very nice, no issues with them. My issue is with Dr. Rajpreet K Tiwana. She completely ignored my concerns and didn't listen to me at all. Also the MA ordered a covid test and swabbed me for it and then the Dr cancelled it. I felt uncared for and doctors like her are the reason I never go to the doctor.

I learned I did not have strep throat. Good news!! They did a COVID test on me but I haven’t heard the results. Although I presume it’s negative since not hearing anything. I figured if I had COVID the results would already be told to me if positive so I could quarantine and not become a spreader.

I love taking my kids here, it’s so clean, fast, nice atmosphere, the staff is always very professional and great with kids and communication. I was even offered a beverage while waiting area. I never have to wait too long. And all my test results and visit information is on My Charts, which is super convenient.

In and out fast! I was able to ask my questions and the get my test done right away. I grew up in the area and went to Lincoln high school so it’s also a very good location for all your needs.

The staff is amazing the doctor was wonderful everybody was very courteous and clean and had a very good sense of humour The doctor let me know that they would be informing me of my test and they call me within 20 minutes of the time I left I would recommend them to everybody I know this was the quickest and best experience I've had at a doctor's office You all are amazing !

Wait time was super short, staff was so kind and understanding! I had a covid test taken here and they were so patient and kind with me when I was scared of the swab in my nose.

- Verified patient on 11/14

This was the fastest care to get our covid test I would recommend this place over the other 3 that I looked into. We were in and out within an hour. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

- Verified patient on 9/10

Was extremely pleased with the care as well as the check in process- only became a little disappointed with being told I would be called with my COVID rapid test results within a hour- had to call back to inquire hour and half later only to be told it wasn’t available- girl that answered phone got a little short with me and said they would call before the end of the day which would of been another 4 hours later. She curtly hung of on me when I said I would probably call back cause I would of waited the extra half hour there to get the results but was assured I didn’t have to cause the PA would call as soon as the results were done after one patients before me. Anyways friendly professional treatment just don’t say one thing and do another—- And do not act like I am being rude calling for results expecting them to be done based off of the timeline given to me by the PA there. I did the test because I actually am sick and of course would of liked the results ASAP cause obviously it affects all around me as well .

Needed covid testing. Got me right in for test. I was a walk in. Everyone I talked too was super friendly and professional. Can’t thank them enough! 10 out of 10 in every category.

I made an appointment online and was seen within five minutes of arrival. Both providers were very professional and thorough. I had a lab test done while there and the results were immediate. I was in and out in just a little over 30 minutes. Wonderful and very welcome service.

I would give them 10 stars if it was an option! Kristin and Dr Singh were the best - they did much more than the minimum, they went above and beyond for sure. Although they were at capacity for rapid COVID-19 tests, they squeezed me in - much appreciated.

I came for a Covid Test while I was waiting to be called back I was observing the front desk staff was super friendly and is doing the best they can specially with the language barrier they still managed to check in the patient’s and communicate effectively.

This was my second visit within two weeks. The first one was fir a Covid test and I didn’t answer the survey because the experience was just ok. Average. Broke my toe so I had to go back this morning. Same staff and they couldn’t of been better! Helpful, friendly, empathetic and human. By that I mean they were treating me with a lot of honesty and goid humor. Nothing fake or rude. I would so go back again and will share my experience with others. I work for Olympic Sports and Spine and will share with the patients I come in contact with (accounts). They even got my husband in fir his Covid test while he waited fir me. This is a well put together team. Thank you for letting me share.

Came in for a covid test after an exposure at work and needing to know by Sunday when I have a vaccine clinic to manage. They listened, got me right in, tested me then checked my symptoms which could be allergies, cold or covid. Very logical, sensible, kind snd professional staff!

This facility is near the Tacoma Mall and downtown. My son was flagged as a “close contact “ and needed a covid test. This was the closest, soonest I could find. I booked on solv but was under the impression that the test was drive up. We checked in online and waited in the car but no one came out. I went in and determined that we actually needed to go in. I filled out some paperwork and we were seen right away. Very nice front office staff and nurse! The nurse really put my son at ease! Great place under the circumstances, solv online booking could be more clear. I would go to Tran again and I would recommend.

Thought my allergies were kicking in yesterday and woke up today with more symptoms - felt more like a cold. Pandemic means I'm not going out to deliver orders until I know I'm not spreading death around. I got online to set an appointment around 9am and was entirely done (negative test result and everything) by 12:26pm today. FABULOUS support, thank you!

- Verified patient on 2/24

I was so pleased with the whole experience. My daughter tested positive for covid and I wanted to get a test for myself and they had an appointment for me within 2 hours!! And very prompt and cordial from the moment I walked in the door!!! Highly recommend this facility.

Tacoma Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. To see how you're responding to a drug or to check if you're at risk for certain diseases, lab tests may be performed.

Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

Before your lab test, ask your doctor for precise instructions to follow to minimize erroneous results and multiple trips to the lab for additional testing. A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
