This location was the most efficient and friendly Urgent care my husband and I experienced out of a few here in Aberdeen! We came in 6 mins before close with our feverish infant son. We were hesitant because we knew they were getting ready to close and felt that they would be less than willing to help because we would delay their closing. Not the case at all. Amber and The NP Katy Garnett were amazing! Check in to discharge was less than 1.5hrs and they were very welcoming and attentive to our child! Since then we do not hesitate to go to this location whenever we have an issue! Definitely our go to because of those two young ladies!

The staff and doctors were friendly, attentive, and professional. The Dr (Wundeful) listened to me and evaluated my needs and was refreshing to me. They have you check in on a tablet up front and wait in your vehicle, calling you when your turn is up. Amazing experience, thank you all!

Heading to this one (in Phyllis Green) this morning. Have been there quite a few times in the past 5 years and have always been treated well. Staff is friendly, thorough, and takes time to listen and explain. I’ve had labs, xrays, throat swabs, and always felt good about my experience. Rooms could use some updating but that is all cosmetic. Treatment has been excellent.

The hole staff was just so nice! Was there for a COVID- 19 test.
My name is Patricia Heist and I was seen by Dr Garcia -Faust on 9/5/19. She was very nice and explained everything to me. The staff was very nice. This is not my first time there but i do know if I need medical care this is the first place I will go. You don't sit there all day like you do in emergency rooms.

  • Who should get a typhoid vaccine?

Anyone two weeks and older with plans to travel to or live in an area that's at high risk for typhoid, such as South Asia, Latin America and Africa, should receive a typhoid vaccine. If you are planning on traveling from Kennedyville out-of-country, a typhoid vaccine will be required for entry. You must be vaccinated by injection at least fourteen days before your departure date, or finish your oral vaccination regimen at least a week before your trip.

  • Are video visits available with travel vaccination specialists in Kennedyville?

While a typhoid vaccine cannot be administered over video, your doctor can evaluate and advise you or your child from your home in Kennedyville. They can discuss your travel plans, recommend and order necessary vaccinations, and book immunization appointments via telemedicine.

  • How much does a typhoid vaccine cost in Kennedyville?

Without insurance, a consultation, service fee and the typhoid vaccine doses will typically range from $85 to $300. With preventative insurance, you will end up paying the copay for a consultation and vaccine administration, ranging from $10 to $40. Costs will vary by clinic - book a consultation at a Kennedyville-area clinic to see how much a typhoid vaccine would cost for you.

  • Is a typhoid vaccine covered by my insurance?

As typhoid vaccines are considered elective, it’s not uncommon that insurance will not cover the cost of the vaccine. However, if your plan includes preventative benefits, the vaccine will usually be covered and you may only need to cover the co-pay out-of-pocket.

  • Are video visits with travel vaccination specialists covered by my insurance?

Telemedicine vaccine consultation coverage will vary depending on your circumstances. Typically, if your insurance will not cover an in-person visit, it won’t cover similar appointments via telehealth. Since the typhoid vaccine is considered elective and in-person visits are not usually covered by medical insurance, it is unlikely video visits with travel vaccination specialists will be covered.
