Went in as walk-in and I was 1st one. Reception was nice and friendly. With in minutes, I was in exam room and RN walked in right after my blood pressure and temp. were taken. She had already tested urine specimen which confirmed my suspicion of UTI. RN went over several new things for me to try. Called in prescription and I was on my way to better health. It was thoroughly a good and professional experience. The staff was very professional and, " I would recommend Ascension St. Thomas Urgent Care to any one who wants the best care from those who do care!

I came in one day without an appoint and waited two hours as a walk-in before I had to leave without being tested. I made an appointment through Quest Lab Testing for the next day, showed up on time, got tested easily and was on my way in 15-20 minutes. Staff is friendly and helpful.

I visited the Clinic on 12/28/19. My wait time was minimal. Staff very friendly and willing to help me in any way. I saw Jason Crisp. He was kind friendly cheerful and very willing to listen patiently of my symptoms. He preformed a thorough examination. Mr. Crisp diagnosed me with Sinus Infection and Bronchitis. He called me in some prescriptions to the Pharmacy of my choice. Thank you, Jason, for your expertise in Diagnosis and Treatment. Feeling much better today. Getting Tested for STDs in Clarksville, TN

Who should get tested for STDs?

Anyone who is sexually active should consider getting tested for STDs, especially if they have multiple partners or are not consistently using protection. According to the CDC, certain groups are at a higher risk for STDs, including young adults, men who have sex with men, and individuals with a history of prior STDs. It's also important for pregnant women to get tested, as some STDs can be passed from mother to child during childbirth.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is crucial for maintaining both your own health and the health of your partners. Many STDs are asymptomatic, meaning they show no symptoms, so you may not know you have one unless you get tested. If left untreated, STDs can lead to serious health complications such as infertility, cancer, and increased risk of HIV. Regular testing allows for early detection and treatment, reducing these risks.
