The Solv
ClearPrice™ Pledge

Healthcare pricing is broken. Even for insured patients, self-pay is often much more affordable (the exact same service might cost 2x with insurance), but you’d never know it.

Starting today, we’re sharing the clear, self-pay price for common services you book with Solv. No more surprise bills. No more skipping care because cost is one big question mark.

You wouldn’t buy groceries or gas without knowing the price, so why are healthcare costs so secret? (Spoiler alert: they won’t be for long.)

This is just the beginning. With thousands of our Solv ClearPrice™ Partners across the country, Solv is leading the charge to crack healthcare pricing wide open. We won’t stop until clear prices are a normal part of healthcare—so you can take control of your physical and financial health.

To avoid high costs, 1 out of 2 Americans don't go to the doctor when they're sick.

Solv ClearPrice™ FAQs

  • What are self-pay prices?

Self-pay prices (also commonly known as “cash” pay prices) refer to the prices that you would pay for services if you didn’t have insurance or if you didn’t want your insurance to be billed.
  • Why should I pay the self-pay price if I have insurance?

If you’re on a high-deductible plan and don’t anticipate meeting your deductible, you’d likely save money by paying the self-pay price out of pocket. The price charged to your insurance is usually higher than the self-pay price. Learn more here.
  • How do I find self-pay prices on Solv?

You’ll be able to find self-pay prices for common services throughout Solv - on search result pages and on clinic location booking pages.
  • Which services do you have self-pay prices for?

We have collected prices for common services, including COVID-19 tests, Laceration Repair (stitches), X-rays, and flu shots. We also have collected prices for different types of visits: video visits, office visits, and physicals.

We’re planning on adding many self-pay prices available in the near future. Stay tuned!
  • If I’m a healthcare provider, how can I get involved?

We’re excited for you to get involved! If you are currently a Solv partner, please get in touch with your business consultant for next steps. If you are not currently a Solv partner, learn more about being a Solv ClearPrice™ partner here.
