So amazing these caring souls that work here! I came in last minute with my daughter and in the kerfuffle of illness and getting her there on time we forgot her ID. The appointment I had originally was at 6:30 and they close at 7. We didn’t get back there with the ID until 6:50. The angel at the front desk called me to see if I was still coming! They helped us thoroughly, thoughtfully and with incredible kindness. Thank you immensely.

Went for rapid Covid test. You pull up, check in, park in a designated spot. They administer your test and you are on your way in 5-10 minutes. Results are texted to you in about 10 minutes.

Came in for Covid test. Arrived early but was admitted promptly and out in 15 minutes. While I was there 3 ladies came in and were very difficult to deal with but the staff deescalated the issue in a very professional manner.

The staff members I met were very polite and gentle with my rapid Covid Test. The nose swab was very gentle and she made it very comfortable for me. I received my results in less than 30 minutes, so well worth the price.

We came for a Covid test. Our appointment was on time, staff efficient and courteous and result sent within the 30 minute estimate. Could not ask for any better service.

Didn’t know what to expect. Was pleasantly pleased to find a parking spot right away. Great location. I was glad there was not a crowd, maybe I was lucky. Person at the desk who greeted me and the nurse or technician who conducted my Covid test were both professional and pleasant. I was very happy with the ease in the process. I went back in to get a hard copy confirming my test results. I like that. Overall, I would recommend Surfside and I would return. Thank you.

My family was exposed to Covid. We all had rapid tests as a precaution. The staff was so kind and efficient. The cost was worth the peace of mind.

All tests must be "TIMED STAMPED" along with the date, especially Antigen tests!. I had entry application fail due to no Time Stamp stated on lab test results. I had to reschedule my flight due to this missing critical information. Please help us all succeed in our travels! Thank-you!

Made my appointment on line, got to the facility, was greeted by very nice staff members, taken in the room to have the Covid test done, left facility, received my results via text message. Very organized and painless.

Still not sure exactly what test I got or how much I paid. I was shown paperwork for both but didn't get a copy of either. They were very busy but doing a wonderful job of managing the caseload.

Finding out the night before my daughter was to be admitted to the hospital for surgery I would not be allowed to be with her without a Covid Vacc Card or a negative Covid test I was in a panic. There were no available spots to test where I live, but fortunately my daughter remembered your facility and boom 💥 I was able to get in!! I was early and didn’t even have to wait! I think I was there maybe 15-20 min and that includes check-in, test and results. I appreciate the efficiency of the practice, which is hard to come by these days and will recommend you to others!! Thank you 😊

This was a follow up test after having Covid. This appointment went very smooth, but the last appointment where I tested Positive, the staff gave me a hard copy of my test that showed negative (after telling me it was Positive.). Doctor wouldn’t see me, and the staff up front was very disorganized.

- Verified patient on 11/28

The availability of an appointment so quickly for rapid antigen testing was life saving- thank you. I was informed this morning that one of my staff test positive for Covid this morning. In addition to arranging tests for all of my employees thanks to Surfside I had a negative test within an hour of receiving that call.

We are Canadians who required a PCR covid test to re-enter Canada. Surfside accommodated our scheduled time around our commitments for our son’s wedding on the same day. We were so appreciative. All staff were very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend.

Dr Mike ( The UCLA Grad ) is awesome , made me laugh! Very comforting and efficient. It didn’t hurt a bit during COVID testing . FIGHT ON FOREVER Dr Mike

Due to the surge in covid testing we had to wait quite a bit past the appointment. However the staff there is efficient and very professional. It is very hard to get in and out. Come to the driveway from the north. It's the only way to get in. We had our results in 15 minutes and they took the time to call.

Laguna Beach Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

Before your lab test, ask your doctor for precise instructions to follow to minimize erroneous results and multiple trips to the lab for additional testing. A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
