Came in to the urgent care with an online appointment scheduled. I have been here several times. I have insurance, which was verified by the office, but the front desk girl said I was required to have a credit card on file but couldn’t tell me why. She did say it would be on file in your system for FIVE years. Not only does that seem to be a crazy ask with verified insurance, she could explain why the card was needed or why it would be on file for years. Makes me question things for sure…. The provider was great but first impression needs improvement.

Came in feeling so sick and weak. Dry sore throat and aches. Tests came negative so that was the end of the care. Gave some unhelpful tips to take allergy medicine and use some steam. Should’ve just stayed home. The lady that did the test was very kind though.  But definitely wouldn’t go back.

Was seen same day for a sore throat. Scheduled online was super easy. Had to wait a little longer than my appt but there was only one provider working.  He was thoroughly explaining something to another family, I couldn’t hear anything specific but could tell he was giving lots of explanation/instructions. The check in nurse was very quick, prompt, and friendly. The provider was prompt.  After my tests came back, my meds were sent electronically and I was able to pay and go. I was in and out in 40 mins. The receptionist was reserved and friendly also.

I hadn’t been feeling well for the past week so I decided to stop in here to get checked out. Check in was very easy and once my info was submitted I didn’t wait long at all to be called back. The staff did seem slightly rushed, but overall I was seen in a timely manner and they gave me test results right away, then sent prescriptions that were filled immediately. Got to see a nurse and a  physician. Would recommend.

Nothing more than pure amazing ! I've never been more impressed than I was with this facility! Top to bottom total care is the best I've ever had! I'm not just saying it but you must just see for yourself and then you will believe what I am saying. This establishment needs to be publicly recognized and honored for finally doing something no one this far has ever done in the town we live in. They truly have did an excellent job in setting the market high to show us all how things should always be tand lead by example!

I was able to choose a Labcorp location and schedule an appointment. Check in was easy, and I only needed to provide my name and DOB. They were able to locate my order in their system. They were already aware that my labs were paid for prior to the appointment. I had my labs done on a Wednesday, and I received my results by Saturday. Great experience.

Overview of STD Testing in Chapel Hill

Who should get tested for STDs?

Anyone who is sexually active should consider getting tested for STDs, especially if they have multiple partners or are not consistently using protection. According to the CDC, certain groups are at a higher risk and should be tested more frequently. These groups include sexually active women under 25, men who have sex with men, and individuals with HIV. Pregnant women should also be tested to prevent transmission to their baby.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is crucial for maintaining both your own health and the health of your sexual partners. Many STDs can be asymptomatic, meaning they show no symptoms, but can still be transmitted to others and cause long-term health complications if left untreated. Regular testing allows for early detection and treatment, reducing the risk of complications and transmission.
