I was a walk-in patient and got right in. Processing was quick. The rooms are clean, the front office filled with sunlight, very inviting. The care was complete and all of my concerns were heard. The PA, Ann Marie, was very good, I will go back again.

I have always had great care at this facility. My health concern was chest congestion that was causing me to have shortness of breath. I was seen within 15 minutes of my arrival. Within the next 25 minutes I had the usual preliminary tests done. This included blood pressure and pulse ox taken. The AP then came in and we chatted about my issue at which time she swabbed my nose and throat to test for strep and COVID. She listened to my chest and, because she heard wheezing, she had a chest X-ray done. The results are of my swab testing both came back negative. The chest X-ray showed there was no indication of pneumonia. A prescription for steroid medication was called in, and I was on my way home. Everything was done with such ease and caring. I was feeling so sick, so I was thankful that I was taken care of thoroughly and quickly. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Was having some serious lower leg pain for several days, they were able to get me in that evening, was seen quickly, checked me out, prescribed me some medication and 3 days later RELIEF! Will follow up with my regular doctor, but now I know where to go if I can't get to my doctor. 🙂

I had to get a rapid COVID test for attending a concert, and used OnPoint due to my regular physician being booked. This could have been something to easily dismiss as mundane and routine - thus cutting corners on service/bed-side manner. Definitely not the case with this visit. The online process to register, book appointment, and check in was very easy to navigate and get through quickly. The staff with whom I interacted were all friendly, and professional with a genuine care for me as a patient/customer. I will definitely be returning to On Point for any future urgent care needs.

Sat in my car waiting for 30 min after I checked in online. I was there for a Covid test so I was testing to be respectful by waiting in my car. Then I saw people that checked in after me coming off the list so I went inside. Turns out I needed to fill out additional paperwork and that was why I wasn’t being helped. This was never communicated to me.

The process of getting a COVID-19 test here is quick and easy. That is, depending on the day you choose to receive a test. Not that it's any one particular person who slows everything down. Be nice. The staff are trying their best.

Facility and staff were great! However, charging $150 for a rapid COVID test I find outrageous. Feels like you’re taking advantage of people in a pandemic…

The provider and staff are friendly and vèry helpful. They were though and explained what they were doing and the results of the tests. The downside was the length of wait time. 1 1/2 - 2 hrs was a bit much.

Aurora Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. To see how you're responding to a drug or to check if you're at risk for certain diseases, lab tests may be performed. If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. To see how you're responding to a drug or to check if you're at risk for certain diseases, lab tests may be performed.

Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

Before your lab test, ask your doctor for precise instructions to follow to minimize erroneous results and multiple trips to the lab for additional testing. A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
