Scheduling appt was easy, wait time after arriving was an hour after scheduled appt time. Once brought into exam room everything was addressed in an appropriate amount of time and received results quickly. Staff were all nice but would appreciate if they could update people in waiting room when they are running late and what the expected wait time is for people waiting to be seen

Recent Lab Tests Reviews (20)

I have used this facility a number of times and was always extremely pleased. My only issue this time is the lack of information while waiting in line for a covid test. No organization whatsoever. I understand they are overwhelmed with this covid crisis. But even a sign on the door explaining the procedure would have been helpful.

Walked in at 1:30 for a COVID test, was told 4-5 hour wait time. I decided to go to the drive up and was tested in 5 minutes. The staff inside should have told me that was an option.

I went in for a COVID test, the guy who did the test was very kind and so was the PA. I felt like they genuinely cared about making a patient feel comfortable.

I walked into ProHealth Urgent Care in Jericho not feeling well. Very quickly I was brought into an exam room & screened by a medical professional. The Physician Assistant quickly came to speak to me. Saying I thought I had sinusitis & bronchitis they did a Covid test & a lung X-ray. I was given prescriptions & on my way home very quickly.

- Verified patient on 6/21

The doctor that did the swab on my nose was very pleasant. The only problem I had was that nobody called me to give me the test results. I had to find out for myself who to call.

- Verified patient on 1/21

I was not impressed at first with the Drs attitude and questions as to why I was requesting the antibody test. After the the tech came to take my blood and had some difficulty, the sr came back in and for whatever reason, his attitude towards me seemed to change. In the end, my visit there was fine, but in the beginning I was made to feel like what I was asking for was foolish. I was told “feelings” don’t matter, it’s about science. Which, yes, there is truth to, but that type of bedside manner is not appropriate in times like these when mental illness is, or should be a huge concern in our society.

My experience with the ProHealth COVID test was excellent, I was scheduled for 10:10 AM and I was all finished with the test and on my way by 10:11AM The staff was professional, informative and friendly. I would recommend them to everyone.

It was a very fluid experience. I was there for a rapid test that was scheduled and a drive through. My wait time was very short, the staff was friendly and very competent. I received my results in approximately 15 minutes. It went the way I had expected. A great system.

- Verified patient on 3/14

I walked in and was able to be seen in about by a physician in 15-20 minutes. They gave me a test, got the results and the visit was about 1/2 an hour. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The physician was very pleasant, explained my condition and answered all my questions. I would definitely recommend this facility.

My wife and I went for a rapid COVID test. Since we had an appointment everything went smoothly. We were in & out in a relatively short time. Would definitely go back if need be.

- Verified patient on 3/3

They were very accommodating as three of us had appointments at different times, and the staff ended up taking the three of us at the same time. Only negative is that we never received an email with our COVID test results.

Our family of 5 needed covid tests for travel. We were able to walk right in, all of the staff was super friendly, the tests were quick and painless, and we got our results quickly. Highly recommend!

Very easy. Drive thru facility is much more convenient then a walk in urgent care office. I just needed a rapid Covid Test. Nothing else. That’s what this was. Quick in, out & results.

Out of an abundance of caution I wanted a Covid test. It was Monday 6:00 pm. I was able to get an appointment at your Jericho location for 7:00 pm that night. The staff was friendly, courteous and professional. After the test I met with Dr. Villaci, who was great. He confirmed the negative test result, examined me and reassured me that I was just suffering from bad seasonal allergies. Thanks to everyone at ProHEALTH Urgent Care.

Very friendly and pleasant health care professional. Did her job well.Had a very short wait. Was very easy and nice not to have to get out of the car. Results of test were texted about 20 minutes later. Highly recommended.

Was very happy with Covid testing and quick turnaround however that went downhill today. We can not access our test results and need to submit them to St Maarten. If this happened on Friday we would be in trouble. I spent most of the day trying to get into website. Was finally able to get into for my wife but no test results were there. I plan on heading to my Primary tomorrow to try to get them to send to me. I have had nothing but trouble trying to use Pro Health website.

- Verified patient on 5/20

Though we were told we now needed an appt at the drive thru rapid test, nothing was changed on website. However we were still accommodated and the people were very understanding and in great spirits. Results less than an hr.

Staff is very friendly and helpful; facility is very clean; wait time was minimal. Had to Covid test for travel and they made it easy and were very accommodating in getting back results quickly.

- Verified patient on 3/26

Waited for about 15 minutes before anyone approached the car. However the staff person explained everything was very courteous and from that point forward and move fairly quickly. Also, it was easy booking the appointment for the test online. I would recommend this facility to anyone

They were very accommodating. I did not have an appointment for a rapid test and since they were not busy they tested me. Even though I had no symptoms I wanted to know as my husband has Covid. I was surprised to know that my results were positive also. They help to not spread the virus By doing the test for me.

Jericho Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

Before your lab test, ask your doctor for precise instructions to follow to minimize erroneous results and multiple trips to the lab for additional testing. A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
