I was able to book my daughter an appointment within 15min and it was so easy. Check in was smooth and less than 5min of wait time. The NP took her time taking info and had a great demeanor with my daughter, made her feel very comfortable. We were in and out in less than 30 min. It was a great visit.

My daughter had an injury to her eye late at night. We tried booking an appt with 3 other 24/hr online immediate cares, but none of them had availability. We then tried Rapid Immediate Care. It worked out, they had the earliest available appt. They were able to check her in, inspect her eye injury, give her pain drop for her eye, and order antibiotic in time for her to make it to summer class and not be late. The staff were decent and friendly, good bedside manner. Seemed relatively knowledgeable. Her eye is now on the mend. I have worked in immediate cares and acute care settings in the past myself. In my opinion, this location is better organized and functioning than most immediate care settings I've been to. It certainly beats waiting 7 hrs in an ER, and the quality of care has been good overall, at least for all the times we've been there in the past (strep covid, sore throats, pains). The only reason I didn't contact them first this time, the drive is further away than other locations.

The receptionist and PA that was there today (2/20/2019)were great and amazing! My only complaint was that the nurse on staff today was not so warm and welcoming let alone have 1 smile on her face . Other than her I was very happy with our visit today .

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

Anyone who has been exposed to hepatitis or is at risk should consider getting tested. This includes individuals who have had unprotected sex, shared needles, or have had a blood transfusion prior to 1992. Also, those who have traveled to or are from countries with high rates of hepatitis, have a liver disease, or have been in close contact with someone with hepatitis should get tested. According to the CDC, testing is also recommended for all pregnant women and people with HIV.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial as it can lead to serious health complications if left untreated. Early detection can prevent the spread of the virus to others and allow for prompt treatment, reducing the risk of liver disease and liver cancer. According to the CDC, many people with hepatitis do not have symptoms, so testing is the only way to know your status.

Prevalence of hepatitis in Cary

The prevalence of hepatitis in Cary is reflective of trends seen in Cook County and nearby areas. According to the CDC, the incidence of hepatitis in the region has been relatively stable over the past few years. However, it's important to note that many cases of hepatitis go unreported as people may not know they are infected due to lack of symptoms.

Risk factors related to hepatitis in Cary

Risk factors for hepatitis in Cary are similar to those in other parts of the country. These include unprotected sex, sharing needles, having a blood transfusion before 1992, and close contact with a person with hepatitis. Traveling to or being from a country with high rates of hepatitis is also a risk factor.
