The front staff and medical assistant were very nice. They always have a short wait time which is a plus. However the physician I had was clearly in a rush and not really interested in listening to me concerns. She also called in my prescription under the wrong name and it took over an hour to sort it out at the pharmacy.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

The CDC recommends hepatitis testing for individuals who may be at higher risk, including those who have been exposed to contaminated blood or body fluids, have had unprotected sex, shared needles, or have traveled to countries with high rates of hepatitis. Additionally, healthcare workers and those with chronic liver disease should also consider getting tested.

Importance of getting tested

Early detection of hepatitis is crucial for effective treatment and to prevent the spread of the disease. Hepatitis, if left untreated, can lead to severe liver damage, including cirrhosis and liver cancer. Moreover, individuals can carry the virus without showing any symptoms, unknowingly transmitting it to others.
