My 6 year old son ended up having Scarlett Fever.  We took him to his pediatrician in the morning and they did NOTHING. We were fortunate enough to get my 6 year old son and 10 year old daughter in.  The entire staff was INCREDIBLE! From the receptionist to the nurses to Dr. Anthony.  They ran strep tests, took his temperature, and gave him a couple of antibiotics.  My kids thought they were really nice!  Great staff, very professional, awesome bedside manner and the office was clean!   We are veru grateful and highly recommend!

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

According to the CDC, anyone who has been exposed to the hepatitis virus, either through sexual contact, sharing of needles, or from mother to child during childbirth, should get tested. This also includes individuals who have traveled to areas with high rates of hepatitis, those with liver disease, and people who have been incarcerated. In West Chicago, IL, it is particularly important for individuals who fall into these categories to get tested due to the prevalence of the disease in the city and surrounding areas.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial as it can lead to serious health complications if left untreated, including liver damage, liver cancer, and even death. Early detection through testing allows for immediate treatment which can slow the progression of the disease, prevent transmission to others, and potentially save lives. In West Chicago, IL, where hepatitis cases have been reported, getting tested is a key step in preventing the spread of this disease.
