The front staff and medical assistant were very nice. They always have a short wait time which is a plus. However the physician I had was clearly in a rush and not really interested in listening to me concerns. She also called in my prescription under the wrong name and it took over an hour to sort it out at the pharmacy.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

According to the CDC, anyone who has been exposed to the virus, has had sexual contact with an infected person, or has shared needles for drug use should get tested for hepatitis. Additionally, those who have traveled to countries with high rates of hepatitis, have been incarcerated, or are men who have sex with men should also consider testing. It's also recommended for all pregnant women and anyone born between 1945 and 1965, since this age group has a higher rate of hepatitis C.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial because it can lead to serious health problems if left untreated, including liver damage, liver cancer, and even death. Early detection through testing allows for prompt treatment, which can slow disease progression, prevent health complications, and reduce the spread of the virus to others.
