The front staff and medical assistant were very nice. They always have a short wait time which is a plus. However the physician I had was clearly in a rush and not really interested in listening to me concerns. She also called in my prescription under the wrong name and it took over an hour to sort it out at the pharmacy.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

Any individual who has been exposed to certain risk factors should consider getting tested for hepatitis. These risk factors include sharing needles, unprotected sex, traveling to countries with high rates of hepatitis, or being born to a mother with hepatitis. Additionally, the CDC recommends testing for all adults as hepatitis often shows no symptoms until the disease has progressed.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial because it can lead to serious health complications if left untreated. According to the CDC, chronic hepatitis can cause liver cirrhosis, liver cancer, and even death. Early detection through testing allows for prompt treatment and the prevention of these severe health outcomes.
