The front staff and medical assistant were very nice. They always have a short wait time which is a plus. However the physician I had was clearly in a rush and not really interested in listening to me concerns. She also called in my prescription under the wrong name and it took over an hour to sort it out at the pharmacy.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

Anyone who falls into high-risk categories for hepatitis should consider getting tested. These categories include individuals who have been in close contact with someone diagnosed with hepatitis, those who have engaged in unprotected sex, individuals who have shared needles, and healthcare or public safety workers who have been exposed to blood on the job. It's also recommended for people with certain medical conditions, such as chronic liver disease and HIV, and for travelers to countries where hepatitis is prevalent.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial as it can lead to serious health complications if left untreated, including liver damage, liver cancer, and even death. Early detection can help prevent these complications and lead to more effective treatment. Moreover, individuals who are aware of their hepatitis status can take steps to prevent spreading the disease to others.
