Watertown urgent care - today a Young guy met me outside and asked me questions about symptoms for patient safety. Girl with glasses was cleaning the waiting room chairs and wiping down surfaces ! Nurse was knowledgeable and swift. Doctor was a very nice woman who made sure all my questions were answered. I was in and out in less than 45 minutes. Highly recommend !!

Seen for respiratory issue- thorough work up by HE NP. She was very knowledgeable and attentive.  Told me to f/u with my pulmonologist if symptoms worsen and told me how to use the medication she sent to pharmacy.  Worth the 15 min drive and 10/10 care here.  Highly recommended urgent care.

I went at a busy time so had to wait a bit. Outside of that, it couldn’t have gone better. Staff is fantastic. Everyone there is friendly and very caring.  Doctor understood my issue immediately and quickly took the necessary steps to treat me. Incredible care. Wouldn’t hesitate to return.

I am always appreciative of the connivence this office offers.   Today I had a gentleman doctor and I thought although very upbeat and friendly, I was uncomfortable with the religious questions.  I personally believe there is a time and place, at this appointment was not it.  One, I didn’t feel well and the appointment should have stayed about that.  Two, he is  unaware of my circumstances and that was not the place.  I heard how he had converted, he asked me if I did, and it was very uncomfortable because again he had no idea of my circumstances A suggestion to possibly keep the appointment chatter on a lighter note. People coming in don’t feel well to begin with, any kind of heavy conversation may lead to some awkwardness (and it absolutely did).   Faith, and religion should be off the table for light conversation   Thank you.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

Anyone who believes they may have been exposed to the hepatitis virus should get tested. This includes individuals who have shared needles, had unprotected sex, or have been in close contact with someone who has hepatitis. Additionally, healthcare workers, those who have lived in or traveled to areas with high rates of hepatitis, and individuals with certain medical conditions should also consider getting tested.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial as it can prevent the spread of the virus and lead to early treatment, reducing the risk of severe liver damage. According to the CDC, early detection can also help prevent the transmission to others and guide decisions about lifestyle changes to protect the liver.

Hepatitis testing options in Revere, MA:

Urgent care and walk-in clinics

Urgent care and walk-in clinics such as PhysicianOne Urgent Care in Medford, MA, and Carbon Health Urgent & Primary Care in Boston, MA, offer hepatitis testing. These facilities often have shorter wait times and extended hours, making them a convenient option. You can book same-day and next-day testing appointments at these locations through Solv’s website and mobile app.

Primary care providers

Primary care providers can also conduct hepatitis testing. Regular check-ups with your primary care provider can help detect the virus early.

Free STD testing and community health centers

Free STD testing and community health centers in Revere and surrounding cities offer hepatitis testing. These centers provide an essential service, particularly for uninsured or under-insured individuals.

At-home testing

At-home testing kits for hepatitis are also available. These kits provide privacy and convenience, allowing you to collect a sample at home and send it to a lab for testing.
