The only thing I did not care for was the receptionist. She was a little snobbish and unwelcoming. However, everything else was very nice.

The nurse was friendly but not at all gentle in swabbing my nose for the pcr test. I let her know how much she was hurting me and I know it could have been done to the same effect a lot more gently. She also told me it would take 2-3 days to get pcr results. I was led to believe otherwise from your web site and the doctor who was very friendly came in after and said we should have it probably 24 hours.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

According to the CDC, anyone who has been exposed to the hepatitis virus, has had unprotected sex, used intravenous drugs, or is born to a mother with hepatitis should get tested. This is also applicable to anyone who has traveled to countries with high rates of hepatitis, healthcare workers, and individuals with certain medical conditions. It's important to note that hepatitis often shows no symptoms, so regular testing is recommended for high-risk individuals.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial as it allows for early detection and treatment, reducing the risk of serious liver damage. It also helps in preventing the spread of the virus to others. According to the CDC, many people with hepatitis are unaware they have it, which underscores the importance of regular testing, especially for those in high-risk groups.
