I would come back here again.  Scheduling was very easy, wait time was nil, care and testing was good and the environment is great. My only criticism is that neither the nurse who I first saw, or the provider introduced themselves.  Being in health care myself, an introduction is critical.  A simple "Hi my name is David, I'm a PA" would have been sufficient.

Dr Doylug and the entire staff were great. I came in with a broken leg and they got me X-rays and a temp cast and lined me up with a specialist visit right away. DR Doug went above and beyond to provide the best care possible.

Went in for a sore throat and they told me it was too early to test for it + didn't have any kits in. Got there 15 minutes early, as suggested, and waited over 20 minutes while the lobby was completely empty.

I thought it was extremely easy to book a lab test appointment with Quest. Getting the test done was simple and so was the getting the results! Great job putting together something so user friendly.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

Anyone who falls into high-risk categories should consider getting tested for hepatitis. This includes individuals who have been exposed to contaminated blood, needles, or other sharp objects, those who have had unprotected sex with an infected person, and those who have traveled to areas with high rates of hepatitis. Additionally, if you have been diagnosed with another sexually transmitted infection (STI), such as gonorrhea or chlamydia, it's important to get tested for hepatitis as well, as these conditions can increase your risk of contracting hepatitis.

Importance of getting tested

Hepatitis is a serious condition that can lead to liver disease, liver cancer, and even death if left untreated. According to the CDC, early detection is key to preventing these severe outcomes. Getting tested is the only way to know for sure if you have hepatitis. It's also important for preventing the spread of the disease to others.

Your primary care provider can also perform a hepatitis test. This may be a good option if you prefer to discuss your health concerns with a provider you're already comfortable with.

Free STD testing and community health centers

There are several community health centers in and around Maple Grove that offer free or low-cost hepatitis testing. These centers are a great resource, especially for individuals who may not have health insurance.

At-home testing

At-home testing kits provide another convenient option for hepatitis testing. These kits can be ordered online and used in the privacy of your own home. The sample is then sent to a lab for analysis, and results are typically available within a few days.
