Came in to the urgent care with an online appointment scheduled. I have been here several times. I have insurance, which was verified by the office, but the front desk girl said I was required to have a credit card on file but couldn’t tell me why. She did say it would be on file in your system for FIVE years. Not only does that seem to be a crazy ask with verified insurance, she could explain why the card was needed or why it would be on file for years. Makes me question things for sure…. The provider was great but first impression needs improvement.

My appointment was fine until they tried to call in my prescription. They sent to a pharmacy that’s closed. Then I called in to get help and an hour later I’ve heard nothing.

Lab testing
Felt feverish for the past week, I decided to go to the urgent care. All staff members were friendly and diligent to help me seek for a diagnosis. What I am not happy with is the turn around time to get lab results back since this is an integral part of the diagnosis and I cannot get someone to tell me specifically when the results will be back. I’ve been told it could take up to 3 days for just a white blood cell count, that is unacceptable.

Great discreet service, scheduled my visit and paid for for the test online not in Showed up at lab, checked in and was seen within minutes. Blood and urine were collected, test results came back quickly within 2 days because I did my test on a Friday. Quick, easy and cheap. Didn't have to wait for a visit to my PCP, and then get referral to lab.

It's also recommended for those who have traveled to countries with high rates of hepatitis, have a liver disease, or have been in close contact with someone who has hepatitis. According to the CDC, people born between 1945 and 1965, often referred to as baby boomers, are also advised to get tested as they are five times more likely to have hepatitis C.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is vital to prevent the spread of the disease and to begin treatment if necessary. Hepatitis can lead to serious health issues, such as liver damage, cirrhosis, and liver cancer if left untreated. Early detection can help prevent these complications and can potentially save lives.
