Lab testing
Felt feverish for the past week, I decided to go to the urgent care. All staff members were friendly and diligent to help me seek for a diagnosis. What I am not happy with is the turn around time to get lab results back since this is an integral part of the diagnosis and I cannot get someone to tell me specifically when the results will be back. Iā€™ve been told it could take up to 3 days for just a white blood cell count, that is unacceptable.

Came in to the urgent care with an online appointment scheduled. I have been here several times. I have insurance, which was verified by the office, but the front desk girl said I was required to have a credit card on file but couldnā€™t tell me why. She did say it would be on file in your system for FIVE years. Not only does that seem to be a crazy ask with verified insurance, she could explain why the card was needed or why it would be on file for years. Makes me question things for sureā€¦. The provider was great but first impression needs improvement.

The young lady checking in patients on 9/8/21 was so sweet & helpful. Nurse practitioner Philip Olshinski was also extremely kind. Super nice and what you'd hope for with providers. The place is not fancy, but I was treated so nice. Thanks as I know you all are extra busy during these stressful times.

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

Hepatitis, a disease that inflames the liver, is a significant health concern. According to the CDC, anyone who has been exposed to the virus, individuals with specific risk factors, and those who live in high-prevalence areas should get tested. Risk factors include drug use, unprotected sex, travel to high-risk countries, and certain occupations such as healthcare and public safety workers who are exposed to human blood and body fluids.
