I was very put off by the fact you have to leave a credit card on file! I am very uncomfortable with doing that in this day and age! Receptionist honestly had no warmth… behind the desk personality and seemed robotic! NO other urgent care DEMANDS this… Back office was Amazing… X-ray tech awesome.. Alison PA(?) or dr. Was fantastic! Care great! On a side note I had trouble with the billing dept. when this was under another name! Not sure if the same person heads this up now but she was nasty! I will probably go to City Med as they have a much better system up front!

I made an appointment for a UTI. Checking in was quick. Nichole, who was very pleasant,  took my vitals and list of meds.  Dr Schreiber was terrific. She listened to my concerns and symptoms and prescribed an antibiotic that correlated with the urine sample. I wish Dr Schreiber was a full time doctor at this office as I would want her to be my internist.

The check in computer machines were too complicated for Senior Citizens and individuals who are not computer savvy.  We had to use several check in machines to check in. The receptionist had to use two machines before she could check us in. Staff was very nice.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

Anyone who has been exposed to the virus should get tested for hepatitis. This includes individuals who have shared needles, had unprotected sex, or have been in close contact with someone who has hepatitis. Additionally, healthcare workers, those who have traveled to countries with high rates of hepatitis, and people with certain medical conditions are also at risk. According to the CDC, testing is also recommended for all pregnant women and people born between 1945 and 1965, as this group has a higher rate of hepatitis C.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial as it can lead to serious health complications if left untreated. Hepatitis can cause liver damage, cirrhosis, and liver cancer. Early detection allows for prompt treatment and can prevent these severe outcomes. Moreover, individuals who are aware of their status can take steps to prevent transmitting the virus to others.
