My second appointment. She knows how to aggressively treat my infections and the dangers they pose for someone with RA. I was so impressed I asked her to be my primary.

Urgent care

My daughter was sick. It was a Friday. I knew I couldn’t get her into her PCP over the weekend. They couldn’t fit her in the same day. So I came to urgent care. Everything was great. The nurse practitioner was good, the staff was friendly. The only thing was the wait time was unusually long. They didn’t seem that busy to have a wait as long as they did. I would recommend this provider.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

Hepatitis is a serious health concern that can affect anyone, but certain individuals are at a higher risk. According to the CDC, those who should consider getting tested for hepatitis include individuals who have been exposed to blood or body fluids of an infected person, people with multiple sexual partners, and drug users who share needles. In addition, anyone who has had a tattoo or piercing done in an unregulated setting, healthcare workers, travelers to certain countries, and people with certain medical conditions such as HIV should also get tested.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial as it can lead to serious health complications if left untreated, including liver damage, cirrhosis, and liver cancer. Early detection allows for timely treatment, reducing the risk of these severe outcomes. Moreover, knowing one's hepatitis status can help prevent the spread of the disease to others.
