My visit was good, just like going to my regular family doctor but better, what really surprised me was someone call me a few days later to check on me, and let me know if I had any questions or more health issues to call or go back to the clinic , (that is surprising for me) . I thank you for caring. I for sure recommend this provider.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

Anyone who believes they may have been exposed to hepatitis should get tested, particularly if they have engaged in risky behaviors such as unprotected sex or sharing needles. Additionally, those who have traveled to areas with high rates of hepatitis, or who have been in close contact with someone diagnosed with hepatitis, should also consider testing. According to the CDC, people born between 1945 and 1965, often referred to as baby boomers, are five times more likely to have hepatitis C, so this group should also consider regular testing.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial as it can lead to serious health complications if left untreated, including liver disease, liver cancer, and cirrhosis. Early detection through testing allows for immediate treatment, which can prevent these severe health outcomes. Furthermore, knowing your hepatitis status can help prevent the spread of the disease to others.
