Came in with a possible fracture in my foot and was wanting to get an x-ray. Granted, I should’ve realized that they closed in 30 minutes and came sooner. However, the lady at the front desk was SO RUDE. she repeatedly told me that they close soon so they will not have time for an x ray and i should’ve came sooner. then tried to say it would take 4 hours to get the results back so there’s no point. I begged that they please at least just look at it to see what’s wrong and so the front desk lady asked the nurse “do YOU want to stay longer just for an x-ray??”. the nurse did not want to but the Dr came in and said she would do it. So the front desk lady huffed and puffed as she got my paperwork. then as i’m rushing to fill out all of this paperwork (on my phone AND on paper), the front desk lady repeatedly told me to hurry and that i need to get that done immediately. then when i brought her my papers, she told me to hurry back there. as i limped back to my seat to grab my shoe (i had taken it off to show them my foot), the front desk lady literally yells at me to hurry up! that i need to hurry! and i told her “can i not grab my shoe????”. the results from the x-ray ended up coming back in less than 10 minutes. go figure. all in all, the Dr and nurse that took my vitals were extremely nice and helpful. but that front desk lady is the rudest person i have ever met. and i have seen numerous reviews on Google and Yelp about the front desk lady. obviously her attitude and general dis concern for patients is a universal experience.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

Anyone who has been exposed to the virus through contaminated blood or body fluids should consider getting tested for hepatitis. This includes individuals who have shared needles or other drug paraphernalia, have had unprotected sex with an infected person, or have traveled to areas with high rates of hepatitis. Additionally, healthcare workers and those with chronic liver disease should also consider regular testing.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial because it allows for early detection and treatment, reducing the risk of severe liver damage. According to the CDC, chronic hepatitis can lead to liver cirrhosis, liver cancer, and even death if left untreated. Moreover, knowing your status can help prevent the spread of the virus to others.
