Our daughter had sore throat, fever, and cough that progressed throughout the week. We brought her in for diagnosis and yet again were impressed and grateful for the excellent care. Scheduling is easy and we didn’t wait more than 10 minutes for care. Thank you!

I’ve been here 3 times this year for different issues. The doctor is thorough and explains everything well. She is a very caring person. I could go to a place that’s close to my house but I like Prima a lot more —I’ve seen the same doctor each time, they give you personal attention, and I’ve never had to wait more than about 10 minutes.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

Anyone who believes they may have been exposed to the hepatitis virus should get tested, as well as those who fall into high-risk categories. This includes individuals who have used intravenous drugs, received a blood transfusion or organ transplant before 1992, have a sexual partner who is hepatitis-positive, or were born to a hepatitis-positive mother. According to the CDC, those born between 1945 and 1965, often referred to as baby boomers, are also at a higher risk and should be tested.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial, as it can lead to serious health complications if left untreated, including liver damage, liver cancer, and even death. Furthermore, many people with hepatitis do not experience symptoms until these complications arise, making early detection through testing vital. The CDC reports that early detection and treatment can prevent these health complications and potentially save lives.
