I was able to schedule an appointment the same day.  I fell down some stairs.  I had X-rays done and the NP was very knowledgeable. She faxed in 2 prescriptions for me.  This happened yesterday.  Someone was supposed to call me today after the X-rays were read but I haven’t heard from anyone so far.

Visit was pleasant and fast. Didn't catch the ladies name at the front desk but she was fantastic! Absolutely loved her energy! She administered my tetanus shot and I barely felt it which is good cause I don't like needles! Best doctor visit ever! PA was real good too. I will be going back. My last visit was awesome to. Brita and Caroline the PA were amazing! They were very efficient. I love how clean the facility was. I would recommend these two ladies and your urgent care to anyone. I work in the medical field and I was very impressed. The only thing I would recommend would be wheel chair accessible doors. There should be a push button for entrance and exit. Overall I give this place a 10 out of 10

Overview of STD Testing in Rochester Hills

Who should get tested for STDs?

Anyone who is sexually active should consider regular STD testing, especially those with multiple sexual partners, those who engage in unprotected sex, or those who have been notified by a partner about a recent STD diagnosis. It's also important for pregnant women to get tested for STDs, as some can be passed from mother to child during childbirth. According to the CDC, early detection and treatment of STDs can help prevent serious health complications.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is a crucial aspect of maintaining good sexual health. Many STDs can be asymptomatic, meaning they present no noticeable symptoms. This can lead to unknowingly spreading the infection to others. Regular testing can help identify these infections early, enabling prompt treatment and reducing the risk of complications. According to the CDC, untreated STDs can lead to serious health problems like infertility, cancer, and increased susceptibility to HIV.
